Love Philly Another great 'installment' on your voyage up the North American coastline. Philadelphia is such a great city: art, history, education, politics, sports, defense... Having the Barnes now so accessible is wonderful. When do you anticipate reaching NYC?
Bruce! Hi Bruce, thanks for the comment! I have been lagging behind with this blog. We are actually in Marblehead now. But I have posted an entry About New York. We will call you guys when back home in September. Stay cool in that melting Hotlanta!:)
Ahoy Dear Yampolskis, Thank you for sharing in word and photograph your amazing exploration of the eastern seaboard of the USA. Your unique perspective gives fresh meaning to the history, culture, food, and architecture of this lovely area. With all that sun, your Vitamin D levels (recognized as being important in behavioral well-being) must be sky-high! ---And Vlad, I heard you in a violin-piano recording recently, on the radio, I believe. Travel safely, and keep up the wonderful reporting. Bruce
Beauty of Nature Vlad, I agree that nature's beauty is best appreciated away from urban areas and crowds of people. This, coupled with the absolute freedom of movement offered by RV travel, is why we tour North America. We've explored, hiked and climbed in every lower 48 state but Vermont, Delaware and New Jersey. Next year, we'll explore Alaska and each Canadian province along the way. I appreciate your sailing adventures and fondly remember mine. But the range of a motor home cannot be equaled. Bon voyage. In our parlance, we'd say "Happy Trails." Best, Dan
Dan! Dan! Thanks for the comment and sorry for the late reply. Hope you are having a great summer by the land and by the sea wherever the road might bring you!
