Hey Guys! WOW, sounds/looks like you are having an amazing trip! I can't wait to hear some stories. The ruins at Angkor look amazing, and the trees that grow over the temples look very bizarre. Hope to catch you before the end of the summer. All the best, Miika.
Hey guys...great to hear from you! Sorry but did not get what the groan was for. Is that Sarah's groan? Andrew, you are looking rather clean shaven - what possessed you? Got a bit of flack, did you? And Sarah, love those sandals!!
XXXOOOO
1. basically yes. usually a litte more if you want air con. but it's been cool-ish at night and we have found that generally we don't need it.
2. I know. But seriously, who am I calling/texting from here?
3. Sadly no.
miss you!
hellooo 1. Are ALL the accommodations that cheap there?? WOAH! 2. How very 1992-rogue of you to go with out a cell! and 3. I hope you got to see the dolphins have sex...apparently they are the only ones other than us that do it just for fun! You sound like you are having an incredible time!
MISS YOU! XOXOX
Border crossing
Wow, crossing the border sounds really familiar to Guatemala! When I crossed into Belize they asked for 20 Quetzals (an illegal fee) to leave the country and then after going through the Belizean customs we walked through a 3 acre 'no man's land' which is disputed territory between the two countries. Same made up fee crossing over to Honduras (where I walked 200m with my backpack until I got to Honduran customs).
Lazing in hammock with cold beer sounds pretty great

Salut les voyageurs! Great reading your blog. Brings back lots of memoies of my travels in India........the sounds and odours, great street food, negotiating with rickshaw drivers, the scams....................
I am hoping that you will share your recipes with me as \I love Asian food. Don"t forget to bring back an assortment of exotic spices. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures.Ciao ciao Margot
Hey guys,
Here we are on a nice Friday evening, sitting outside, Grandad and Aunt Marg are here, viewing you pictures.
Grandad says who is the most remembered athele of the 20th century?
So that is it for Grandad, his funnny for the evening.
Glad to see you are both safe and well.
Tried to call you , got a bus signal. You good luck!
Lots of love to you both
Aunt Margot + Grandad comming to Oakville, they will be thrilled with your travel notes + pics. PS..you know Grandad will except a "full" briefing. Sounds like you are having a great time and no mention of HOT weather getting in the way. Be safe, Dad S
More great pictures. Glad to hear from you both.(not that I was worried)
Trust Andrew to find a beer shirt somewhere. I wonder how many beer glasses are coming home?
Stay safe.
Great to hear from you again after, what seemed to be, a long silence. We really missed your almost daily updates. G-20 is over so all the excitement in Toronto is over. I hope you got to view some of the street scenes from this past weekend's activities. Keep those notes and pictures coming. Hey Sarah, who is that guy with the beard in the picture? What was in the bucket?
Love,
Mom
Looks like fun! Hey Guys, looks like you are having a lot of fun! Silver I'm digging the traveller's beard! I'm jealous that you went zip-lining it looks like a lot of fun!
zip line drop Sarah, I really felt your terror and ...Andrew must have felt guilty (or should have). Great pics..I particularly like the blue thing a ma jigs under your helmuts. Looks very cool. The cooking class sounds like fun and I take exception to your thinking that I wouldn't have liked anything. I would have adapted. Keep those blog entries coming.

Beer is pretty cheap, but relative to everything else it is expensive. Costs anywhere between 35 and 50 baht for 650ml bottle at the 7-eleven (there are 7-elevens everywhere here) which is about 1 - 1.50 CAD - 60-95 baht at a restaurant. It's 12 baht for 1.5L bottle of water.
Hey you guys...I am green with envy. But what I really need to know is how you found out that you gave out the wrong cell number? I haven't tried calling you yet (I've been good).
