which country i would say that thailand is better, the beaches/islands are really incomparable although vietnam is still nice in that it is cheaper. better still, cambodia is like half of what vietnam is
yay ty! we were in luang prabang for new years too. it was so much fun. have you spent any time at those cascading outside bars along the river? i forget the name of them, but we hung out there lots. the mekong is gross hey! we couldn't take two days on the slow boat. we did one day slow boat, one day fast boat. have fun and keep updating us!! i loved all the food at luang prabang. they have awesome resaurants!
ah we got lazy and only managed to do a small day trek in pai. Yea i did the 3 day trek last time, and they all seemed to be the same....im so excited for Laos. and my lady!
are you going to go on a trek from pai or chang mai? you did that last time right? we went on a 3 day trek from pai. it was super great except for the fact that 6 out of 10 of us got really, really sick, including myself. i remember we had something similar to ichiban noodles for lunch and we hiked for about 2 or 3 hours and i finally barfed and the noodles looked exactly like they did when i ate them. they hadn't digested at all. it was weird!! HA HA!! i really liked pai too. and chang mai! you're going to freaking love laos. luang pabang was one of my favorite places. they also have a fun waterfall to go swimming in. thanks for these updates. i love them! have fun!
Funny Face Typei,
Do you ever just smile.... you always have your model on! Well you better get ready to get me in some of those shots with my sassy suck-in-the-cheeks-we're-in-thailand, model look on.Glad you lost your amish look, much better!
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm like 5 days bitch!
yay! you guys went to two of my favorite places in kanchanaburi! i love how those fish would nibble on your legs while you swam in the falls. they did that to us too. i still remember the poster ad they had for the tigers when we were there. it said: 9am, leave on bus. 10am - start having fun with tigers. we always laughed how the fun was worked into the schedule. i love poorly translated signs!! have fun guys!
you are loved! well, i have to say that you look a lot better sans beard.. hehe...
those fishes are cleaning you off, sucking off all the bacteria on you.. hehe... that totally would have felt weird!
it is so beautiful there! i so want to go...
lots of positive energy sending your way...
and, ya, where's my postcard? bitch?!?
TY....kanchanaburi was one of my favorite places. we went there twice. make sure you go to the falls that are about 70 km from kanchanaburi. there are 7 of them and you can swim in them. there's a natural waterslide on one. it's sweet. we also went to that monastary where you can pet the tigers and that was sweet too. have fun!!
amish Ty Ty, Ryan said you look amish, I can see it! I wil ask him to take some pix of us gettting sleek and stylish making martinis and hitting Deadmonton like a disco-ball crashing on the dance floor! Word to your Mother.
Fat ladies & skinny man. So Maria and I will be fatties with a skinny Ty. LOL!
I once ate at a fancy Thai bbq where you get to pick three types of fish to fry on the on Barbie. It was grrrreat. I tried some sort of shark, barracuda and king fish (I think).
Meat on stick I once had a whole mass e-mail (my "old-school" form of communication back when I traveled in Asia) about the various meats on sticks I saw lingering everywhere from the beach to my appartment gates. I can't preach enough about the squid on a stick, it was so tasty. Find some for me! Also, I would avoid the cocktail weenie-ish things on sticks, and reformed fish balls baring cute little pics of say... Hello Kitty. Once one was floating in my noodle soup, a bit tooo much for me.
Livers on a stick were everwhere too, but I wouldn't try them. Men alsways lose weight travelling in Asia, and women gain it. I was told that on a rrival and watched it happen all the time.
Word up T-spice, love you
