Monday Evening We so enjoy your journals everyday. I couldn't wait to get in from school today and see if there was a new entry and hooray--- there was:) Megan, you did a wonderful job. I think this travel log could be made into a missions book. Its so neat to hear how God is knitting your hearts together. It will be hard to separate when you return. Obviously there has been a lot of prayers said over you all. I shared with the OCP teachers this morning all of your blessings and successes. We had prayer for the group. This is my chance to get even with him for a very unfortunate picture he posted of me with a certain piece of cake. hehe Well, keep up the good work and stay safe and warm. Lots of hugs to the Shaw kids and even Tarlos. We miss them all a whole bunch. P.S. Adrienne, your boards are done and everything is in great shape for tomorrow. Candy came in for a while and went over stuff. So rest easy. Love, Bev - Bev Shaw

Happy New Year All I can say is WOW!!! Your report was amazing. I really felt like I was there. I laughed at the tale of the bus being stuck and all of the pushing. I had tears as I read of the sad living conditions and what we take for granted. You are on an amazing journey and have experiences that will change your life forever.:) Amy, I am praying that you will feel better soon. Are you drinking water from the tap?? Be careful and God Bless. Bev Shaw - Bev Shaw
Greetings to Amy Hi Amy - Sounds like you are having a great time - glad to hear you all made it safely. I've been enjoying my vacation from work - reading, shopping, saw Oceans 12 and went to this cool place in Tampa with my parents and my aunt. It's called Big Cat Rescue and it's a non-profit that takes in wild cats (leopards, tiger, lions, bobcats, lynx, ocelots, etc.) that have been abandoned by their owners or abused in circuses, etc. They are on a large piece of wooded property and the cats are in cages, but they're big cages (especially compared to the cages they were kept in by previous owners) and they have a lot of room to roam. I got some great photos - I'm hoping to go back soon and do the day-long excursion where you get to interact and feed some of the smaller, tamer cats.
Weather here has been cloudy and not too cold. Hope you are getting to take lots of photos. This travelblog concept is great - I really enjoy reading your entries. Stay safe and warm!
