So amazing that you were able to meet the Binkleys. They're such lovely people and appears they looked after you well which has really made your Florida trip rememberable. I wished I had visited the Space Centre as it looks amazing. Also really amazing that you got to see an Osprey and amazing photos of it eating a fish

Plitvice Lakes' Panoramic Beauty
So exciting to read about your journey to and time at Plitvice Lakes! I, too, enjoy taking local transportation, including buses and trains, when visiting a new country! And you're so right about stops in little-known places often being a real treat! We visited Croatia while on a tour which began in Albania. A trip to Croatia seems not to be complete without visiting Plitvice Lakes! I loved the natural beauty there -- however, it was seriously difficult to enjoy because of a certain group of tourists who crowded each and every view point, taking interminable selfies, and who followed each other like an onslaught of lemmings, not to mention their fear of being more than one foot from the rest of their group -- even if they nearly knocked you off the narrow wooden walkways crossing the lakes to reach their group!! Their behavior was nearly intolerable! It sounds like your experience was so much better! You captured great photos!

Hi Alex. I'm pleased to hear Zagreb hasn't been taken over by the tourist hordes - a city still with a bit of edge.

Disney
Wow so glad you visited Magic Kingdom. I went there almost 20 years ago. I went to Disney in Shanghai on my own and you kind of forget you're on your own as so much to distract. Unfortunately though I wasn't able to queue jump being a single person as Chinese can't queue orderly. Do you know if the Tron ride is quite new? I went on it at Shanghai back In 2018 and at the time was told it's the only park to have that particular ride. Look forward to reading your blogs with the Binkleys 😊

How I remember Dubrovnik
The red roofs of the historical city center is how I remember Dubrovnik. I was there in summer so it was very warm and packed with tourists. I also remember that now that I think back. I guess it was a bit cooler when you were there and somewhat fewer tourists. /Ake
