This day was always going to be the biggest of the holiday so far but that proved to be a epic understatement. We booked Hide 19, again by recommendation. Bumbun Kumbang was its name (I think there is some sort of innuendo in there). We took the riverside walk, which was slightly shorter than the inner jungle one, as it passed the canopy walkway. Canopy walkway was quite incredibly, being 50 metres above the rain forest although the thought of Malaysian engineering was a little unnerving when you looked down. Our packs carried the bare essentials: sleeping bag, 3 and a half litres of water and 3 servings of fried rice.
