Of course, one needs training for that. I plan to take up the Accelerated Free Fall course. When I said 'next stop', I didn't mean it has to happen immediately. :)
' ARJUN- THESNOW MAN' NATURE IS THE SOURCE OF SUSTENANCE FOR ALL HUMANS ON THE EARTH AND IT TRANSCENDS IN DIFFERENT FORMS AND THE SNOW IS ONE SUCH. EACH F THESE FORMS BRINGS OUT A DIFFERENT BEING FROM WITHIN TO WHICH THY RESPOND DIFFERENTLY. THE SOCIABLE TRAITS OF HIM I OBSERVED N VIRGINIA WHEN A GROUP OF PEOPLE CAUGHT UP IN EXTREME CONDITIONS OF SNOW WHEN WE WERE IN A BID TO WRIGGLE OUT THEMSELVES FROM THE NATURE"S FURY.THE MAN CAN BE EXTREMELY SELFISH, YET THE OTHERS SO FORTHRIGHT AND HELPING. OUR SNOW EXPERIENCE COULD BE READ IN MY BLOG-MY FIRST SNOW IN AMERICA AND THE SNOW FALL AND AFTER IN AN EXHAUSTIVE FORM. YOU ARE ONE WHO IS ADVENTUROUS AND YOU HAVE CAPTURED THE NATURE WHEN IT ADORNS THE CLOTHE OF SNOW, PRETTY WELL!

In the rat race most of us loose a track of life and time. Its always encouraging to hear about your adventures. Glad you have kept yourself connected to nature... to Life... CHEERS buddy..!!!
Life, as you rightly said, is a mountain trekking, where you have to first choose from the many that you have and stick to it.Of course, you need to have a fairly good knowldge about the' trail' you've choosen and your experiamnce and your own 'self assesement' come handy. The sucess comes to person who can take calculated risks in life. And there's nothing that stops your inherent love of outddors and adventure enthusiasm!! I hope you could get fabulous opportunities to do such and could add them to the Blog as well.
Good Shooting, Arjun !!
CANOEING IN ROCHESTER It was a nice read. The photoes were also impressive. There are much more in the offing for you in the US in your pursuit of adventurism. Go on sharing your exploits with others, i look forward to your new trips and reading about them.
BIKE MAKE hi ajbvision nice blog also felt good about words to arjun written by special person to his son well could you tell me what is the bike make and model and how you trained for the high altitude ride with less O2 bye
Hi Mauvin Sorry, for the late response. I don't remember the exact model, but it was a Trek sports bike. You need to have a reasonable fitness level when you ride your bike over there. So make sure that you exercise regularly. Also, once you are in Leh, don't go for this bike ride the first day itself. Spend a couple of days to let your body acclimatise and get used to the change in oxygen level and then go for it.
Cycling well done!!! Congratulations... You have peddle on of the worlds high passes. I'm planning mine in the month of June 2013, any suggestion for me.
Hi Raj, If you are going to cycle downhill, make sure you have an extra jacket and a bottle of water with you as the weather can fluctuate. You will enjoy the scenery and the ride, but don't get carried away. Make sure you keep your cycle under control all the time.
If you are going to cycle uphill, then make sure you are high on carbohydrates and are used to cycling long distances.
Good luck, enjoy and have fun.
LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY Your descriptions are vivid, absorbing and even poetic like the way you had explaind the situation when you couldn't lift your bike and no one around, you looked at the sky and the sky lookd back at you. That was wonderful, indeed! We are thankful to the ARMY for their services to the nation and the 'much wanted service' to you when you needed them. In life nothing comes without a toil. And, as I said in my earlier response, to take up such an adventurous venture on your part is praiseworthy
ARJUN-THE HERO OF PANGDONG Traveling from Leh to Pangdong , wide eyed and enjoying those great moments as if in ecstasy, and encountering the mighty Chang La,one of the steepest passes in Ladakh you were looking like a past master who had had a long innings in Ladakh! You describe the ride with such familiarity as if you were born there. Your style of 'capturing' such rare moments are in line with some of the best travelogues. The language too is lucid! A good narration.
Kudooooossss...... I just love ur love for nature and adventures. You are a different person who live by his own wishes....People do travel but keeping care of there comfort. I think u r not among them...u take chances, choose difficult options and thats the most impartant thing one should do to make his/her trip different and memorable....
Great Arjun...hats off to u...may u do many more such trilling trips.
