Hey Boy Hi Dan, I've been trying to keep up to date with your travels when I can & must say you do tell a good story (but then again you always did, usually after 6 or 7 pints!). It's a good job we took you to the Hong Kong Delight so many times when you were younger as it has obviously helped you with the local cuisine (do they do sausage, chips & gravy (no peas) out there?). Keep up the good work mate, Suzanne, Cian & I are really jealous.
I am trying my best !! I didn't ask about the sausage chips and gravy no peas, i should have done really. I would say i haven't been the most adventurous eater yet but this changed this week, had snake in some back alley in Shanghai, it'll be in the next blog along with pictures
Thanks for all the information ,really enjoyed reading it.You are having a wonderful experience.Spoke to your Nana yesterday....not too sure if she is really enjoyi
Cormorant's catching fish! Hiya Dan,
Sounds like you are having a great time! The river trip looks great. I have seen on tv cormorants catching fish on the fishing programmes that you hated watching because you wanted to see the wrestling! Haha!
Jealousy ! Alreet Dan , good luck in china , trip looks great so far , jealous as owt always wanted to get to HK but ship I was on never went there . Bah ! Looks like you're finding the same as me when I travelled no matter where you are in the world you always seem to find somebody from your hometown. Keep up the blog mate it's good stuff.
Omelette Hi Dan, just found this blog and am really enjoying it. Great pics and descriptions of everything so can't wait for the next installment. Lots of love, Helen xx
Good to see you're having such a good time mate. You were brave going with the omelette on the flight over! Sounds like it's pretty cheap to live out in Hong Kong too. The pictures are great, such a real contrast between the old Pagoda's and things, with the high rise block in the background.
Take care mate, hope you enjoy the well earned beers!
