The smoke's not so bad Dear Bruce,
All looks very exciting, especially as i'm now entrenched in 12 hours days in the smoke. Still the weathers good and I'm supping champers with Hestletine. Looking forward to seeing you on the 17/18th. Flat hunting on hold due to mad week so will need input. Drink some run, enjoy the sun and bring me back some Road Kill.
Roger Roger over and out.

hiya 'nephs' ! Have at last managed to attach my laptop dial up computer to Dendy's broadband !! (via his nephew in Sydney who is a computer guru, via the skype I have just installed on D's 'pooter here in Sussex) Thus been able to read your travel diaries. Sounds amazing, though not sure I would be too good on the edge of those cliffs ! Our news, as you probably know is THE move !! Complete on the Farmhouse 28 March, so country life here I come ! (however sale of my house has just fallen through and gone straight under offer again for a larger sum ! but will obviously now be a bit behind schedule. LOADS to do and spend on the house, artistic nephews needed for advice !!!! But 'not so artistic' father of said nephews may have to be substitute until return of same !! Longing for you both to see it, bedrooms aplenty and endless 'tinnies' and stews to fill you up on any pending visits - in exchange for bramble, nettle, ivy destruction, pond clearing, 'midge' proof fencing etc etc. love for now Auntie xxx

This is the journey of a tall dark English ‘chap’, born and bred in the undulating countryside on the border of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, the ‘home counties’.
A journey off the beaten track. A rambleing shambleing and meandering visit to the lonley deserts and windy beaches of Australia.
It will involve some long and lonely highways, late and ludicrous nights, and a truck full of very big kites.
Start the engine, press play on the iPod, grab the shades and cowboy hat, lets roll.
