Are we really sophisticated??? Hey you guys! Still touring around eh? Colin and I have already settled down in that mundane lifestyle of waking up, going to work, coming back, eat and sleep.
Not planning to stop by Singapore?? If you do, just let us know! I did email you two. Julie and Thor did reply but so far nothing from both of you. Lucky I remembered the website address you gave me.
Have fun ya! We are jealous!
PS. I took that photo of me and Colin, kayaking. If you go to my Multiply website (http://hartcol.multiply.com/), you'll find yours!

she'll be coming down the mountain! Hello Zoe and Phil, Fuji looks fabulous, fancy going all that way and not getting to the top!!! Only joking Zoe. We're very envious of your travels and makes us look forward even more to our trip to Mombassa in February. Our alpaca venture is geting off the ground at last and we now own 6 females 2 of which are crias (babies). The mobile home has arrived on site and the next thing to sort out is generator, treatment plant, gas and water. Still at the farm tho' paid rent until next June so have plenty of time to organise the complete move over. Need to build housing for the dogs (definitely not having 8 newfies in the mobile home even tho' it is 3 bedrooms, 2 loos etc.) Plans have been submitted so hopefully by the end of October we shall have our permission for agricultural occupancy. If not we're staying anyway!! Keep in touch it's lovely to see you both on your travels around the world. Lots of love Dad and Sue xx
hello Hi Zoe and Phil glad to see you're still enjoying your travels. The birthday sweets arrived today so thank you very much. Off to the great dorset steam fair tomorrow i expect you remember that from years ago Zoe. In haste as it's late lots of love from Dad and Sue xx

1st class travel is really cool,
I used to travel alot across Russia, we did it this way - bought tickets in 2nd class for all the seats in the coupe so it turned out to be 1st class (save money). But today it is no more possible.
If not 1st class then I only like Platzkarte (3rd class) - though there is alot more folks around - you have more space around and if lucky - exciting storytellers around.
Russians are more than just stinky fellows :))
Well... I hate odors too and sometimes get into really bad situations. But this is a different story :)
Hello Hi,
We have just read your notes and it seems you are having a good time. Cant belive we are in the 20 century on a computer on line(not ours!)
All the best for your future travels, keep us posted.
Tim and Norma. x
travelblog Hi Zoe great to see you're having a great time. Were keeping up with your blog ok, not bad for a pair of old technophobic geriatrics! Really envy those japanese temperatures. we've had rain, rain and more rain but surprisingly some sun this week and set to last for the weekend. odd that as it's august bank holiday. our farming plans are full steam ahead at present with planning application going in this week. End of october will tell whether we have been successful or not. if not we may catch first plane and join you!!!!
take care and have fun lots of love Dad and Sue xx
Great to hear it's going well! Hi Zoe, glad to see you're having lots of fun. Just to cheer you up, having had about four days of lovely sunshine, it is pouring with rain and blowing a hooly in Christchurch. I have to tell you though, its still fab to see the sea from my bedroom window!
Keep in touch - it's great to see what you're doing. S xxx
I qualified as a teacher in 1997 and have been teaching ever since. Thoroughly enjoying my job, I took the first brave steps to having a career break. Selling my flat and minimalising my belongings and gradually throwing useful travelling things into my backpack ready for the first leg of the journey on Monday 23rd July. So the race is on, flat having a lick of paint and onto the market. Fingers crossed! I can't wait! I'm escaping daily routines to see the world (well most of the Far East anyway).
