Not bad for a drum major from the little old Grapevine High School Mustang Band in Texas!

sooo exciting!!!
Hi Zach! I was just looking at your pics of Espana, and am sooooo very excited that you get to take these amazing trips! Hopefully one day I will be able to do the same, but in the meantime I will live vicariously through you! Have a wonderful time, and please keep posting pics, etc. love and safe travels, Marissa

A sword?
How the heck did you fit a Toledo sword in your baggage? Really? Michael will be so jealous! Love the comments about all the people you have met. I laughed about the hipsters. How is the weather, cold? Keep having fun and stay safe. Love, Susan

Happy Birthday, Zach!
Zach, I enjoyed reading your blog and am looking forward to the next one! It will probably be the closest I get to Spain! Sorry you had trouble with the passport, but we have all done things like that! At least you got it back after a relatively short time. Hope you had a great birthday and enjoy every day! I am going up to spend the weekend with your mom - should be fun. I know that she is so proud of you and rightly so! Love you, Cathy

So Jealous
Dude that's amazing. I'm glad you're having a blast, I wish I could have seen a Barca game while I was there.

Drink Question
Well...drinks here are so cheap, particularly if you get them at the store. A cheap bottle of wine could cost anywhere between .35 to 5 euro, while a nice bottle of wine could be 15. There are beers here, but I don't think they are as good as the local beers in the States.

Am so enjoying your travels! I've learned more reading two days of blogs than I did my high school history classes! It is great what age does for you :) The Mattesons

Day two
i want to know what you were drinking to make mom and dad proud. Also, have you run into any Texans yet. Susan and I are always amazed when we run into people over in Europe that are traveling from Texas. Sounds like you are having fun. Keep sending updates. To bad you couldn't meet up with us in Prague in March. When is your first concert.
