First and foremost, I'm not a blogger. You may be wondering, "then what are you doing here?". I have been travelling several times a year to many different countries and after so many years, its kind of hard to keep track of where I have been and when. Every time someone saw a nice travel photo of mine ask where was it taken, I would take either mixed up the dates or the location. Guess age is catching up with me. 😊

Places I have been are Netherlands (Amsterdam), UK (London, Bradford, Leeds), France (Paris, Nice), Switzerland (Geneva, Interlaken, Lucerne, Lugano), Italy (Florence, Pisa, Rome), Spain (Madrid), Portugal (Lisbon, Porto), Taiwan (Taipei), Korea (Seoul, Busan), Japan (Osaka, Kyoto, Fuji, Tokyo), China (Beijing, Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai, Yunnan), Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi) and parts of Malaysia.

I always travel free and easy and I have lots of research materials for the places I have been or intend to go. I think it would be good that I have some place to record my travels and the things I saw during my travels. Easy for my friends to use it as a reference too.

Breakfast at the Shin Osaka hotel is great. Had the Japanese breakfast which consist of grilled salmon, pickles, miso soup. Rice, drinks, tofu and desert are free flow. They have a small flipchart on the tables to teach you how the Japanese eat the tofu and deserts. Sorry, didn't have a picture of the breakfast as I wasn't fully awake at that time so didn't think of taking food pictures. Checked out of the hotel by 10am and head towards Kyoto. Thanks to my 2-days Kansai Area Pass, there is no additional charge needed for the train ticket. The ride to Kyoto is about 1 hr+. This pass is useful if you are travelling out of Kyoto. Arrive in Kansai Airport at around 7:20am. The airport looks so empty and I cleared the custom rather quickly. Was thinking that I would be on schedule but boy was I wrong. The JR pass office is located at the Train terminal and the queue for the JR pass is too long. Its either the people queuing up can't read or they don't care. There was a sign to say that you just need to send 1 representative with all the passport to get the tickets but they just stand in the queue with their group. There was even a family with wheelchair waiting at the exit blocking everyone that is going out. Japan 2017 - Flight to Japan

A350 Business Class 1

Transiting at Ho Chi Minh for flight to Osaka on Vietnam Airlines. Took the Business class on their A350 airplane. Not my first time flying Business on Vietnam Airlines but my 1st time on A350 Business Class and also 1st time able to sleep flat in a plane with no one beside me. Nor do I need to worry about waking the person beside me to visit the washroom since my seat is both a window and aisle seat. Ever since I tried flying Business on other shorter flights, I do not want to fly economy again.
