Glad you purchased a new camera! The photos of the ice sculptures are wonderful - this is a definite destination for my next visit to China! Also, what is the name of that hostel you stayed at in Shanghai with the superb view?
Up to your usual high standards! Love the pictures of the locals - they really shine on top of the narrative. Keep up the work of keeping us enthralled you lucky girl
Best photos yet I was really hoping for more photos of indigenous people and these are some of the best yet. I know it must be hard in not wanting to offend but they are wonderful when they happen. The scenery is beautiful too. Thanks for creating such an interesting blog to follow. I know I'm biased but I know others think the same too! Love you. Keep on trekkin'
See this Tiger I have been to China, but have/had no chances to see this place, your travel and tours to china helped me know more about the suburbs, and I am more likely going to visit there once again in Mid-August for business travel and tours and spend few holidays there :)...

Hello Hi Sis,
Fantastic to here you and Cheryl are having such a good time. Would love have heard your GCSE German. Thats probably why the guy looked miserable. You probably insulted his entire family describing them as some form of venerial disease. Stick with "beer" and you won't go wrong.
Cheryl really enjoying the blog. Look forward to getting the emails and reading of your adventures. Amsterdam sounded a little tame. Didn't quite remember as you described but I'm sure it was there....... somewhere. Maybe we just visited different parts of the city!?!
Love to you both, can't wait for more.

Ready for the off
Nearly Wednesday start of you journey of Europe, we can now see the carpet upstaris as the camping gear and boxes have been crammed in the back of your car.
Drive carefully and come home safe. The house is very quiet but Maddy and Mika are keeping us both occupied.
Love to you both

Ready for the off Its nearly Wednesday, the start of your journey - enjoy Europe and we are counting the days until you are back for just over a week. I am looking at the Planner as we speak. The rooms look relatively tidy now as you have removed all the camping gear and boxes. Yet more boxes have been put in the loft for your return on the 5th July 2010. not that I am counting.
Take care of each other - watch were you are going. Text me whenever you can and let me know where you are. Maddy and Mika are settling in well - at the moment Mika is on one of your covers in the middle of our bed and Maddy is relishing the sunshine in the conservatory. We are just getting used to hearing the pulling of the stairs carpet and being jumped on in the middle of the night as the have on of their mad moments.
I hope you are impressed with this - that is if it gets to you
Love you loads

Boo-hoo! Boo-hoo!
Well, if yr gonna write such heart wrenching stuff .... i'm not gonna read anymore blogs!
Only joking. You have a lovely writing style, so beautifully written, can't wait for the next instalment ... !
How do I measure 525,600 minutes ...?
As you know a lot has happened in these past 12 months but, if i can keep progressing and getting stronger as much in the next 12 months I will be a very "rich" lady ... not in cash, but in life.
At many points in the past 12 months i'v often had such lows that thoughts of "life isn't worth living", but now, I feel the world is my oyster and I have everything to live for.
Life expereinces in themselves make your life so much richer .... by the timne you two come home you will be millionairs!
I'm so glad and fortunate to have such wonderful and varied friends in my life who I will always treasure.
I wish you both the best .... RAWHIIIIIDE!

After 10yrs of working for cops in Manchester, England it's time for a little soul food and to remember that there's a great big beautiful world beyond these borders.
Like most people, some of the trip is light hearted and some to see the richness, culture, history - and favourite for me, the natural beauty of the world. If you have any comments on how I can improve my blog please feel free (deleting it is not an option!!) although I have felt that some of my entries have been a little too long to be enjoyable so will now blog a bit more often with a little le... full info
