Wow! That's about all we can say about Bangkok. There is so much going on at one time, it's crazy. Apparently we started our day way too early. Since we ended up sleeping the majority of the day yesterday, and then all night after that awful plane flight, we woke up this morning around 7 and started the day. The hotel we are staying at offers breakfast, so we went down and gave it a shot. It was suprisingly good. They have almost everything, even a omelet station. After breakfast, we decided to brave the streets and take a walk. There must not be any traffic laws in Thailand, or none that we have observed. We have landed in Singapore after two extremely long flights with a stop in Moscow, Russia. We are flying with Singapore Airlines on a very large 350 passenger jet. The nicest feature about the plane is the entertainment system which includes close to 100 free movies to choose from, TV shows and music. Kevin also found a golf video game to play to try and pass some of the time. Again, longest 20 hours of my life. I slept maybe 4 hours total and poor Kevin didn't sleep a wink. The food was not great, but decent and there was plenty of it at all times. Overall, a good flight into Asia. Moscow wasn't worth a post. Well, here we are at the airport. We have about 1.5 hours until our flight is supposed to take off. Luckily we checked in before we got to the airport because the other line was close to 100' long. Apparently we pack rather light compared to most on the trip East. Most had at least 4 bags, some more. We didn't get lucky enough to have TSA feel us up. I guess we look trustworthy. Anyways, we just wanted to start this thing off. We are not sure we will have time to do one of these in Moscow or Singapore, so the next might come from Bangkok.... read more
