We left Ai Ais this morning after a really dodgy nights sleep and then being woken up by a cranky baboon. I really do not like baboon (Sarah). They just look like they constantly want to eat or disembowel you. An epic 11 and a half hours later we arrived at Sossevlai where the worlds biggest dunes are and which are part of the Namib Naukluft conservation park. The drive was one of the best ever in our families recollection. We went through arid deserts, saw scores of oryx, springbok, ostrich, black backed jackals, zebras. So inspiring is creation. We stopped at about 5pm for a while on our own in the desert and just watched the changing colours of Africa while kit went looking for prints in the sand. A hot wind was blowing and
