Palace Hotel Looks like we've picked a hotel with a good view, hope the interior is as good.......staying there in May. Looking forward to reading more of your blog when I have time
I'm hungry It's 5:35 pm, and I'm in my office, thinking a nice bowl of homemade Pho would hit the spot rather nicely. Hmm. But I don't think I'll be getting any.
A suggestion Perhaps stopping by another day with your business card with the "PhD" underlined would help you gain admittance for one more try at the "thinking" coffee.
A very funny story, does it qualify for funniest home video? Did anyone catch it on camera? Guess we will have to stay tuned to YouTube.
Mom
1st grade Hey, I'm in first grade too! I like what you are doing. Did you take that picture of you taking a picture of you in the mirror? We don't know. You can tell us all about it when you come home.

Glad to hear from you Glad to hear that you are doing well. The pictures are great, we enjoy every one and the comments too. Jake still has his Vietnamese picture dictionary from your last trip. We have it out to look at.
Love You
Mom
1st grade again Hey, Ilene--
I love the photos, especially the first-grade workbook. Hope you're well, and can't believe you're eating meat--what's gotten into you? Well, meat, I guess. See ya.
Thinking about you all day! Hi Ilene - I was thinking about you all day. Mom gave me the update this morning and then I was able to read the blog tonight (LOVE Jake's new laptop!) I hope that the next leg was smoother than leaving the US!
Looking forward to your next update!

we are all following your blog---thanks for letting us travel with you--we ARE glad we are missing the fun you are having in all the airports though! (:
We're Ilene and Robert. She's traveling to Vietnam for 5 weeks this winter for research, and he's traveling there for 2 weeks to try and distract her. We both love weasel coffee.
