As I enter my adult life I find myself with a certain longing for a far off places, the types of places that frequent the pages of travel magazines and web sites. The kind of stuff that travel dreams are made of. Unfortunately for my wanderlust, my bank accounts does not feel the same desire to travel. When I was a kid, we did the standard family vacation trips. Upstate to visit family, Florida to visit Mickey Mouse, here and there. The trip wasn't as important as the destination and at times I would find myself sleeping all the way to the place which we were going.
