Amazing Skin, wicked blog mate and excellent history. Definately no place like Asia...I loved it and have so much more to see. If you are near Toronto, you are near the neck of woods I used to live in the US, Buffalo. Enjoy Niagara Falls, its a bit commercial and the Canadian Horeshore Falls are much better than the US side. Also, check out a little village called Niagara on the Lake....its very quaint. Toronto has a China Town from memory...so you will feel at home with your snake! Take it easy man, Dicky xxxx
19 Great blog Skin, I would love to see Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Maybe next year perhaps. I cannot read this blog without hearing Paul Hardcastle's 1980's electro-pop classic '19' going round in my head! 'The average age of the combat solider was nineteen..n-n-n-n-n ninteen....' lol! ;-) Dicky xx
xx Another great blog under your belt love. Glad you weren't bitten or mauled by anything more serious than mosquitos. (Or indeed caught up in a tsunami or earthquake - there's still time!) Roll on Canada.... Missing you as always
xx
Its been awhile! Hey Skin. I have finally got some down time with work, so I've been catching up on the last 6 months of blogs! Loving your work as always and the movie quotes! Sounds like you are having 'the time of your life'...bet you've been singing that one while drunken and cross dressed! lol ;-)
Don't feel lonely when you part from friends, a wise man once said:
"To dare to live alone is the rarest courage; since there are many who had rather meet their bitterest enemy in the field, than their own hearts in their closet."
Keep growing my man....

Nice as always jealous when i read these but glad your passion for travel has been brought back! Im sure if you needed the cash you could try your hand at a lady boy...?
xxx You did get my text about unexploded ordnance and bandits in Laos right? Nice spider, almost as big as the one in my porch! Nice spear throwing technique, all good practise for when you return to teaching. (Thinking of javelin rather than keeping control of the class by throwing things at them)

Hi all, I'm Mike, a teacher from Wales and travelling plays a key role in my life. I am fascinated by the endless variety this world has to offer and the people who inhabit it, I live to travel to faraway places to seek out as many experiences as possible.
"If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine. It's lethal." - Paulo Coelho. I suppose it's a desperation to avoid the norm of home, that feeling that life is mundane and unfulfilling. I don't want to be like the majority, stuck in the rat race working all day and sat hunched over a smartphone checking Twitt... full info
