Finding balance India to me is noise, contrasts and diversity, very unlike Norway where I´m from. But like you pointed out - the Indians themselves seem to have found the inner balance to function in the chaos. Nicely observed, I´m glad I found your blog. Enjoy your stay.

Catching up ... ... after a very busy few weeks, good to catch up with your blog and hear that you're safe and doing wonderful things. Can't quite picture you in England after this!

‘Be still and dream the future’, I like that and Rishikesh sounds like the right place to do it. I wonder if your ashram is the same one with the lovely gardens I visited, by the Ganges. It was quite big as it hosted a world yoga conference at the time. Did you select your ashram on the basis it teaches tantric yoga? Happy dangling anyway, Percefal
Golden Temple Boo hoo hoo that I am not you, Tiz. India was always on my list of places I still wanted to see before I departed this mortal coil. Luck and love as always x
Dangling in the Unknown It is said the 'I don't know' is the start of wisdom. I love that you are just going where you want to go...so many people never get to experience that joy of an empty page just waiting to be filled. Enjoy!

Busy, belated, but at least reading blog comments at last I have read your recent Pakistan excerpts. I have been writing more than reading, although reading books, not blog comments. Now I know what I've been missing! I sent you a private mail today. Oh lucky stars allow me to have some precious moments to read Tiziana's travel blog. Alfie shut up - hehe. Good luck, good life. How are you getting on in India? Seeing your interest in Kali, you must blog us a posting from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh if you can manage the journey (about an eight-hour drive from Delhi). She has been causing something of a stir there in recent times. Or if you’re stuck somewhere like Lahore again (fed up), and want some distraction, come and join me in Afghanistan at http://percefalsquest.blogspot.com/
Thinking of you Dear Tiziana,
I'm thinking of you a lot while all this horror is going on in Pakistan which is very sad for the people there. We are going on retreat tomorrow for 10 days, will include you and Pakistan in my practice.
Take Care,
Anne
Thank you for this ... Hi Tiziana,
I've sent you a private message also, but wanted also to say how very moving and beautifully written this is. Nothing has brought home the sadness of these days to me more than this journal.

interesting This is really interesting, Barry. Ever since I've set foot into Pakistan, people have been saying to me that I look like a Pathan woman. Maybe there's some connection there? Love x
Thinking of you Dear Tiziana
In the scariness of all that is now going on in Pakistan we are thinking of you and holding you in our thoughts and prayers.
with love and blessings

I’ve always wanted to travel the world, ever since I was a little girl. I dreamt about adventures in strange lands, treasures that were to be uncovered and destinies that had to be followed. When I turned 35 years old, the time to live my dream had finally come. I sold my house, surrendered my responsibilities and gave away most of my possessions to follow the call of my soul.
My journey started in 2007 with an overland trip to Pakistan that was only supposed to last for a few months. I left my hometown of Leamington Spa in England for a train trip that took me through Germany, Czech Rep... full info
