Taxila It is a shame that Taxila is one of a few places in Pakistan that history of Pakistan can be found. Having visited many areas of Pakistan there are few places preserved the same way as Taxila. In a country with a vast, vibrant history it is a real pity.
Thank you for visiting our city. I really enjoyed your blog entry about Lahore. Thank you for visiting the city in such troubled times. Hope you enjoyed your stay and will make a comeback someday! :)

truth Inspiring. Funny I just wrote about the same: conception or perception of (non)duality between life and death. Om Shiva Namah
P.S. I love the part where your friend says, "Aren't they?" Nice picture, and it made me smile.
Ahh, I wondered when you'd get down to my part of the world! You need to experience Dartmoor, in all it's beauty. Let me know when you're next down here and we'll go visit a few stone rows . . .
:)
Typical Loner I resonate so much with this piece that I feel somewhat displaced sitting here. ;) Then I have to remind myself of something Einstein said which I like: "Although I am a typical loner in my daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty and justice has preserved me from feeling isolated." Happy reading, thanks for sharing.
Like Percefal said before "be still and dream the future" sounds just too good. I hope you don't mind if I soon get a tatoo with those words on my skin. ;)
PD I mean it.

Welcome back! Dear Tiziana, glad you're back and happy! You've reminded me of a story I read some time ago, about a boy who decided to go to a far land by the end of the rainbow, to find treasure. When he reached there he managed to dig out a coffer, but, to his surprise, it contained a map showing the exact location of the treasure, which was next door to home! So there you are...
I've embarked myself into an inner journey, too. My best tools have been yoga, ley-line dowsing and two books, which I recommend you: Homecoming (Reclaiming and Championing Your Inner Child) by John Bradshaw, and 'A Course in Miracles'. Best wishes for your inner journey!
Dont know how i missed your post the other week. Good to know how - and where -you are. Wales is certainly beautiful - your post made me feel quite nostalgic!
Hey dear,
I'm glad that everything is falling into place for you. Isn't it weird how you find what you were looking for almost on your doorstep? But who knows if you would have recognized it if you hadn't travelled so far.
Give my love to Wales!
I’ve always wanted to travel the world, ever since I was a little girl. I dreamt about adventures in strange lands, treasures that were to be uncovered and destinies that had to be followed. When I turned 35 years old, the time to live my dream had finally come. I sold my house, surrendered my responsibilities and gave away most of my possessions to follow the call of my soul.
My journey started in 2007 with an overland trip to Pakistan that was only supposed to last for a few months. I left my hometown of Leamington Spa in England for a train trip that took me through Germany, Czech Rep... full info
