No Monkeys Yet Valarie is coming in on Saturday and we are planning a drive to Aurangabad. It is a four hour drive and I have hired a driver so we can see the countryside. Maybe we will see monkeys then. -Trudy
Hello Tom I looked at your blog and I think you have the whole world covered, except for Greenland and Antartica. I hope it is good to be back at work and take a break before you go see the penguins. Trudy
Thanks for your latest update. So good to hear your having time to embrace the social side of this cultural experience. Congratulations on not dropping the lemon...even if you came in last. You DID finish!! Hugs to you!
Hi Trudy, tank you so much for these bits of culture, I really enjoy seeing what you are doing over there, and what the country loooks like. Please tell Roshan the car is very nice and I wish him good luck with it. Michaela
Fun times in Pune Hi Trudy. It looks like you're "blending in." I haven't heard of the car blessing before. I'm glad you finally got your elephant picture. So what are you missing - have you seen the monkeys yet?
Glad you are enjoying the experience! Hi Trudy -- love your blog! Such wonderful memories come back to me as I look at your pictures... the Techbook team is wonderful to show such hospitality to all of us! It's so good to see all the familar faces... (and Raju without his walker)! I have now traded places with him as I recuperate from my broken leg -- ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to think he was taking me all around India using his walker -- amazing.. thanks Raju! Have a ball Trudy and please send my love to everyone!!!!!!!
Go Trudy Go Trudy You seem to be going great and enjoying India. Good for you, I have never been there. I have just returned to work after my Europe trip. Keep up the good blogging!
Trudy: I'm enjoying so much reading about your visit to Pune! I loved your description of the market....it made me "hungry" for BANGLES!!! Safe travels and say hello to all for me!
Sorry no Brad or Angelina It looks like they have left the city. I did see a van with dark windows pass me on Lakshmi road. I imagined they were in the van. Probably not but a cool fantasy.
Beautiful! Trudy - this looks so pretty, and fun! I'm glad you're getting to experience such a festive holiday. I enjoy seeing all your pictures. This looks like my kind of holiday!
Starstruck Seriously, if you don't get pictures of Brad and Angelina, I'm going to be so disappointed! I'm so bummed that I was there a year too early! Sweet talking your way past those Indian bodyguards should be no problem.....
Was Ken Serious? Is Brad Pitt really there? Go find him :)
Looks like you had a fun weekend. You missed a LOT of rain here in Dallas - it's still falling...
....be sure your life insurance in paid up! Just teasing! I saw the picture of you on the morotcycle with Roshan! I tried so hard to get me to ride it; but it was a "no sale." No motorcycles for me anymore (....event though I had a scrooter when I was in college! .....too many wheelies under the bridge!) It's exciting to see all of the preparations for Divalli....with I was there too! Tell everyone I said Hello!
Cool Rider! I wonder if you ever want to come back after this special treatment. It sounds like you are having a great time! I can't believe you rode a motercycle!
Hey Trudy, you are having the time of your life there! Check out the way they live too, a lot of people can afford cooks and house keepers - for very little money.
Indian Food Diet Well, you kept saying you wanted to lose some weight. By just being able to taste things, you may get your wish. I still envy you and what you will be able to see.
