Wishing I was there... Hi Jen,
Great photos and writing! It's nice to get a feel for what it's like. This definitely sounds like an adventure of a lifetime. Can't wait to hear about the Amazon.
Inspired by your beach and waterfall photos, I'm gonna try to go to the beach this weekend. Probably somewhere in the city...the weather is finally getting a little warmer here.
Stay safe,
g-)
P.S. I couldn't add comment to your last post (got an error with bad link).
helllo hiiii...i miss you mann!!! sounds like your having an interesting time...im pretty jealouss...have you met any interesting people yet like that egypt trip!?!...lol...please stay away from the weirdos!!
Yay for updates Hey Jen,
Your trip looks like it is starting off amazingly! Keep the updates and pictures coming. It's good to see and read about the outside world from this little cubicle. You should find one of those mysterious donkeys while you're there and take a picture of it. That is your mission before you leave the hostel.
GNE is going okay. Still learning lots and enjoying the job. It's a lot quieter these days it seems. Diane quit last week! Our department shrunk, again. I'll keep you posted so you can see what you're (not) missing :)
Good to hear from you Hey Jen,
I was just wondering how you were doing. Looks like all is well and you're havin a good time (maybe except for the cold)! :-)
Keep us posted,
g-)
Dune One thing you probably missed but is a must see is an area called the Guadalupe Nipomo Dunes, about 20 miles south of Pismo Beach. Great sight... it's just one huge beach that spreads really far inland, but the white sand makes it seem like a desert right next to the ocean!
I've been addicted to traveling for as long as I can remember. 2007 was the year of travel for me! In June, I embarked on an 8-month journey through Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Uruguay, Morocco, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, and India.
After living in India for 2 years, I'm now back in San Francisco. Unfortunately, the more practical side of life has taken over, and I'm not able to travel as much as I'd like. I hope my blog piques your interest and enriches your life, as it has mine.... full info
