Before we left Siem Reap, we headed back to the market to shop for cushions, table runners, and more purses. We then ate the best gelato ever at Blue Pumpkin- passionfruit was delish! Afterwards, we boarded our local bus to Phnom Penh. I was not quite sure what to expect here, but our "local bus" was a very comfortable Greyhound style bus with the benefits of Karaoke. This is where we discovered the song "I'm Sorry", a Khmer song about a girl who bakes a cake and burns her boyfriends house down in the process. This kept us entertained for the 6 hour journey to the bustling capital of Cambodia which is set on the banks of the Mekong River.
