Happy New Year Hey Tracy / Patrick ... Happy New Year! Happy Birthday too Paddy. Looks like you're having the time of your lives. Keep the blogs coming. Cheers, Kurt
Avatar P.S. I agree that avatar in IMAX 3D is amazing! Surprisingly enough, Simon made the same comment on the plot (and was bothered when folks started clapping at the end), but I wasn't bothered in the slightest and loved it!!!
Awesome update Hey guys -- glad you had a nice time with Nick and Heather! The killing fields sounds like it was a fantastic life experience, and was well written as always. Tracy - sorry to hear about the parasites.
Happy New Year,

懐かしい (natsukashii) Loving your blog. The Japan bit is definitely making me a little nostalgic of my time there. Whilst I love the temples, scenery and culture galore, my biggest tip is to head over to Mos Burger and try a "Yaki Niku Rice Burger". Simply the best burger in Japan and not fast food.
Nara I think the same deer was proding me in the backside too! Haven't tried the burgers yet, but one day left and the Yen is running low, so cheap fast food it might be
Still stuck at Canopius... Hi Patrick. Thanks for the link/photos. Great to follow your adventure and sort of share the experience. Looking forward to out trip to SA/Aus in Jan. Enjoy Japan and the rest and keep the pics coming! BTW - Linda Stannard binned from Canopius, if you haven't already heard. All the best. Mike Burrows

Just a quick email from me to say that these 'blogs' are very good, I have to set aside my whole lunch just to read them! Anyway its making us all very jealous - I'm sitting at my desk stressed out with work...
Have fun
Best Blog Yet!! Hi guys, it sounds like you're having a great time. Question: as the red pandas are a cross between two animals, can they reproduce??
Keep in touch,

China Pt 1 Soooooo jealous, what a shame you had to travel half way round the world to find another 4 Spurs supporters.
Patrick, I like the photo on the frame, haven't your feet got big since you have been away? Look forward to the next blog.
Dubai Hi Paddy and Tracy
It was great to see you guys out here...
I hadn't seen most of the pictures...looks like you had fun when you were out and about while I was at work! Hope you enjoyed the place...? There are more bars than you would have seen but we couldn't get into most of them with Layla (Bar 44)!
There is no mention in the blog of your arrival and my mess up with picking you up from the airport...looks like I got away with that one.
Enjoy Hong Kong and China next! Looking forward to the next update.
Rich, Laura and Layla
love the comment re loo rolls! shame about the bars. can imagine that the sun to snow is a bit wierd... but would love to try it out one of these days!
You missed a bit ! Hey, you forgot to say "wish you were here" !!
Nice update though, sounds like a great start....... apart from the hand bit obviously !
Just like many people out there, we were disillusioned with the job market and the economy generally. So trying to ensure that ´every cloud has a silver lining´ we decided to toss the jobs in, educate ourselves culturally and go see the world a bit. I guess unlike many other people we are lucky enough not to have the commitments some have and be able to afford to take this time out financially. Probably a little more (just a little) flash-packers than backpackers this our 15 month journey to 5 different continents and approximately 30 countries, please join us for ... full info
