Do you think we could outsource to the Gorillas? As always guys, a fantastic write-up. I am so jealous! We are all reading your story at work (now linked from your own page on the internal magazine) and I am sure you will start to see plenty of comments coming in from KPMG. This is turning into a fantastic journey - stay safe, and keep it coming.

Awesome! You guys!! I've just read your blog on a frightfully boring day in rainy manchester - and it's put a smile on my face. Very amusing and informative - so pleased that you got to see the gorillas as I know it was one of the things your were looking forward to the most - and the baby twins too - how cute!! There's an uncanny resemblance between you and them, Lewis ;-)! Loving the pictures - keep them coming! Love me and urchin. x

Deluxe Suite you say..? your fuck** joking!! Hi both of you,
Wonderful update; all sounds just unbelievable, the gorillas in particular. To get so close to them must have been amazing. It was great to see you both on skype yesterday and looking so well too - not gaunt, pasty and ethiopian like yet... (eating food still affordable at this stage..) but tanned and happy, which is great. Still worry about you both all the time and just hope that you don't take risks in order to fulfill your dreams.. (thats my ticking off done) I'm thinking ghastly boat rides, pillion on mad motorbikes and living in what can only be described as shi* holes!! hee hee. We are all well; went to Angelica and Jamie's Chsistening today which was just lovely and the girls looked beautiful in their dresses. Matilda is really so close to walking; I do hope she achieves this before you return next month. Isabella loved playing with her friend Angelica; gosh how she is growing up.. she told me in the car "mummy don't sing that anymore please" when I was belting out to Michael Jackson - I really don't know where she gets it from. Matilda also got told to "wrap up" by her.. Its great to get the blog, keep us posted and I send big kisses to you both and lots of love. Biz xxxx
Jambo! Hi both, I can't believe in our discussions about your travelling I never cottoned on to the fact that you were staying at the Wildebeest Camp! I stayed there in January - great place and a great way to start your adventure! I also have a picture of Steve :)
Sounds like you're having a great time, looking forward to hearing which animals you spotted on safari!
Lovin it The blog is fantastic and it sounds like you are both having just the most amazing time - looking forward to the next installment. Keep safe! x
Well done brave intrepid travellers Fantastic blog. Very imformative, Great photos. I can vicariously travel thru africa with you, without having to leave the convenience associated with flushing toilets and instant hot water! Great idea. I wish you all the best on the next bit of your great adventure. All well with this branch of the Lewis's. Our biggish news is that there will be another small Lewis coming into the world mid Marchish. Hopefully hosed down, talcum powdered up and smelling like baby by the time you arrive downunder. Thinking of you. Love Cousin John. Love to all other Lewis cousins/uncle/aunt reading this xxx

You've had me in tears..!! Hi you two, what a wonderful informative and emotional update from you both - so very funny too! I cannot imagine life in such poverty (well obviously, you know what I am like) and think its wonderful that you have seen what it really is like and as you say, it does remind you of how very lucky we all are and how we should always remain positive. The trip to see the animals is something I would love to do and to get that close must have been amazing. I trully cannot wait to see the photographs. I would have loved the visit to the school, I'm so pleased you went there - I bet you come back with half a dozen of those beautiful little children!!! Its so lovely to read your blog, what a great idea, although I have to say as soon as I scrolled down to the fabulous photo of you (Bro) with the giraffe it made me cry because I do miss you sooooo much. Keep updating us and its a great read and makes us all feel as if you are both not too far away. Life with us is good as always - quick update; Isabella now completely toilet trained, such a clever girl, Matilda is getting more stable on her feet and pulling herself up, I have decided not to return to WDF but set something up on my own, we have decided ot return to Grendon and do alternations then sell in a few years time and we've sold Grove Farm... much love to you both and please please take care. Love you both dearly, Biz xxxxx
Amazing! Hello you globetrotters!
What a mwonderful BLOG from you both! I really get a sense of what Africa is really like versu the touristy bit!
Loved your story about your bus ride to Kampala - 13 hours - how far? Great you hooked up with Letina etc and were able to get under the skin of nairobi
Your pics are also very good - from thye Palm island in Dubai to being kissed by Giraffes. LIked your luxurious tent and the Marriot Hotel in Nairobi!!!
You both look relaxed and happy. Love your prose style and sense of humour and to know that you are both well and safe - good pic of you Zuzana outside your Wilderbeest accommodation!
Have you seen the Gorillas yet? Looked in the mirror David - there's one!!!!!
Our lives are relatively mundane compared with your wonderful expereinces. I was travelling in a taxi in Chelsea when we texted yesterday David, a complete contrast to your location and experiences - so no Starbucks then?
It was so sad saying goodbye to you both last Saturday! Its a funny sensation to relive 28 years of your life as I hugged you goodbye. Where have all the years gone, and now he's off on an amazing adventure. Its good to know you have an amazing and loving partner to be with and I guess there will be times when you both will need that closeness as you face the inevitable challenge
Needless to say we all miss you - I miss you - and we think about you constantly. Even the guys in the office ask, "How are they both, where are they!?
So pleased you.... well jealous! hope you guys are ok!! Colin says hello and bloat is wiggling at you both!! Post more blogs and then more and then some more then perhaps that will do for then!
Lots of love me, Mike , Margaloo, Colin ooohh and the unborn child of hate!!

Now the beginning..... Hi, nice to read about your final preparations and now you're entering the beginning of your long and exciting trip! Hope you're having a great time and look forward to receiving updates about your adventures. Happy travels! Dawn
Davids got the runs The best thing to stop the runs is charcoal tablets, also be careful with malarone when flying (unpressurized) and scuba diving, if it's on the cards. We chose doxycycline for this reason!! No yellow fever injections??
Sissy Girl Number 2 Guys,
I didn't get to see you before you went but I love reading these. Being sissy girl number 2 - I think you have both had me crying on your shoulders at one point or another over the last 3 years - this made me so emotional when I read it!
I'm so happy and pleased that you are both living your dreams. Keep these updates coming - they brighten by boring work day.
Much love to you both
Tink
