Happy Xmas Happy Christmas to you both too, we had a fantastic day in Australia with the standard BBQ on the beach and have been told all about the snow horror stories at FP, quite glad i missed it! But if it makes you feel any better i did get stung by a jelly fish today and have a slightly lacerated leg. It all makes for good story telling though!

Hi Tom and Rachel
I am so jealous!!!!! It all looks so fantastic, its not fair. I went skydiving over Queenstown on the last day of my holiday, a little bit hungover, which really helped. I would love to do it again. I think I will have to watch my dvd when I get home. Hope you had a happy birthday Tom. Lots of Love
Jo
Sky diving photos Just seen the photos which are hilarious - Tom looks like a giant intent on dragging his miniature instructor to a certain death and Rachel, it looks as though youve picked up a small dwarf hitch hiker in photo no 7. Theyve cheered me up no end on this dark dismal morning!
Love Mumxx
Sky diving Really enjoyed this blog entry - sounds like the sky diving was awesome, you're much braver than me . wouldn't get me jumping out of a plane, have enough trouble getting into one on a normal flight. Thanks for checking out Te Aroha, look forward to seeing photos. Also very interesting to hear what Tom got up to on his birthday!! Looking forward to hearing about the South island. Love Mum x
Hi You two Looking forward to the next instalment of your travels. Sorry I don't seem to remember the beach at Waihi that Sue was talking about, I was very little, not like her and Steve who were very old!! Enjoy the rest of your stay in NZ and look after each other. Lots of love Mum xx

ROTORUA THIS IS MY SECOND ATTEMPT AT DOING A COMMENT SO IF IT ARRIVES TWICE YOU MUST FORGIVE ME. ENJOYED ALL THE PICTURES ESPECIALLY WAIHI BEACH WHERE YOUR MUM, STEVE AND I SPENT MANY HAPPY HOURS AS IT WAS OUR NEAREST BEACH. I ALSO CAN STILL REMEMBER THE SMELL OF ROTORUA AFTER 45 YEARS?. MUCH LOVE FROM HASTINGS.
Paddling?? After all the moaning about how hard it had been paddling a canoe across a lake in Cumbria a few months ago, I now read about this prowess and power with the paddle!
Call me a sceptic but I suspect 'the other side' were a bunch of Girl Guides... ;)
Anyway, nice to read about and see in pictures what you are both up to.
Keep it coming and enjoy yourselves...
xx
So Tom and I are finally setting off on our round the world trip with a 26 hour flight to NZ tomorrow! In total we plan to spend 7 months visiting the following countries; New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Loas, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Nepal and India. Hope you enjoy reading!
