Xmas fun
But I bet you aren't having as much fun as tonight's Ceroc Australia Christmas party at that amazing piece of architecture known as the Ryde Civic Centre. And I reckon Antoni Gaudi is glad he is dead, otherwise you would probably try to pash him off. lol.

otro mojito por favor...
I read your tale and actually had to think if i wrote it...practically identical kind of trip and route taken. though i think you had more luck than i did. I loved cuba, cant wait to go back. I only need to make sure i have a bankcard that works....

Tom does Blonde
I reckon it would be more interesting if you included more personal stories of yourself and your travels. Not just the glossy side but the bloopers as well so to speak. Like how you felt being blonde in the USofA. Did you wear the proverbial zinc cream. How you remember the language and understanding dialect being spoken. I would have thought you must have spoken pidgin english what with your ocker slang. BTW did you keep a sojourn of your travels back then or your just going by memory.

Cuba
Tom, I've just returned to Aus and reality after 9 months on the road - so am now living vicariously through other lucky travellers! By far, Cuba was the most fascinating, memorable, complex place I visited (up there with Bosnia). I also had a similar experience being left with a bill for Cuba libres!

Crowded House
Tom I couldn't believe it when I saw it but if the b/w pic is of your siblings then I think you've got enough for your own cricket team, ok so maybe not cricket, but basketball perhaps. BTW how are the numbers shaping up for future generations. Truly Stunned

Amazing stuff, yet again!! Love the shots. Hey how come u never stopped by in the Middle East or the Indian subcontinent? Just wondering..... Is it coz they are too touristy or is it unsafe? I mean u have been to the most intrepid places. The latter should not the reason eh?

Munitions factory in flames
I remember the day our local candle factory burnt down. We all stood around singing "Happy Birthday". I am also a bit disappointed to see you standing on the dunes barefoot. Where are the sandals?
