The Slug and Lettuce YUCK! Why on earth would you name an eatery after "The Slug"? Not very appetizing to me. Someone will probably say "yum, tastes like chicken"!
ABC... When we were in the Loire valley, it stood for "Another Bloody Chateau", but I guess in your case it's "Another Bloody Cathedral". I enjoy your movie reviews! Gives me some good ideas for things I should see.

England Loved your comments. Having been to Bath and Stonehenge I can appreciate the awe. After talking to your Mom last night a reference was made in the TV show Cold Case to a guy who had gotten two tickets to Wicked. If I hadn't talked with her it wouldn't have meant as much. Take care, Love You, Grandma
Post card I just had to let you know this is Monday, the 14th and I got my mail and there was your post card, that was faster than our mail in the US. I loved it and have been sharing your blogs with my friends here Have fun Love you, Grandma
ONCE, and now forever GLEN HANSARD?! Well, after this coincidence I suppose your other experiences might pale in comparison. But, knowing you, that won't be the case. Keep on doing what you're doing! Love the stories and love living through you! HUGS, MOM

And clover and shamrock are fairly synonymous, father.
what is a phalangular bird?? We googled it and the ONLY thing that came up was YOUR blog entry with the sentence highlighted. So PLEASE tell us what the shite is a phalagular bird???? See private comment also - Love ya!! Barb

I'm an undergraduate at Furman University studying Chemistry while being passionate about theatre and improv. The following outlines my escapades in the lands of Éire (birthplace of Bernard Shaw, Butler Yeats, Beckett, and Bono) and the United Kingdom, "the country of Shakespeare, Churchill, the Beatles, Sean Connery, Harry Potter, David Beckham's right foot... David Beckham's left foot, come to that."... full info
