Welcome back! Thanks for sending these pictures. I hadn't realised you were in a group as well. I thought it was just you and your dad, or have I got the wrong end of the stick? Anyway lovely to see you at choir again today. I'll be in touch about the next baking session(s).
Matilda walking Glad the walking trip is going well (shame about the strong winds). I'm looking forward to seeing your photos
and you nextweekend. Hope Sunday trip is good and I expect you are looking forward to meeting up with
mum. Have a good time with Mandy and Jeff. loads if love nana xxx
Well done for walking up Skiddaw. I bet you sleep well with all this fresh air and exercise.
Nice to meet someone nearly your own age I imagine. Great that you were immediately able to get along well enough to play great games.
Made ox-tail stew last night. You have to leave it to cool overnight then remove the fat. Then I finished it off this evening and ate a third of it for supper with miniature boiled potatoes and tender stemmed broccoli. Yum. Also made some small almond and plum tarts and had one with thick cream.
First session here with a new psychotherapy client. Always interesting, and moving, to do that, but I can't tell you anything about her because of confidentiality!
The Christian Bookshop in Stroud is closing down and selling off their stock of candles cheap. Bought lots of small ones for next Christmas and two really tall medium thick ones for the mantel piece in front of the mirror.
Looking forward to hearing from you again.
Love
David
Thinking of you! I am in the internet cafe where you will end your big walk and, hopefully, put up your last day's blog entry! I'm thinking of you heading up to Skiddaw House ... hoping you are belo the cloud .. it's quite clagged in here. much love, Mum
How exciting! I was considerably older than you are by the time I got to the Lakes. You've got great parents, to take you to such a lovely place. How absolutely wonderful, and the weather forecast looks good at the moment I think. I'm so pleased you've included me on your blog. Have a great time! Looking forward to your return though, as there are plenty of Hot Cross Buns to make (and a couple of Simnel Cakes)! Lots of love Dx
