Day 2: Tour with tong dealing with Tong was fine, she does take a little while to get back to you but it’s worth it in the end. We tried to squeeze a lot in as we were off to Phuket the next day. Our guide for the day was Charlee, he was brilliant. His knowledge of Thailand was 1st class as he claimed to be an ex teacher of Thai history (He also claimed to be ex CIA J). He was lovely guide & kept everything on track. We travelled in a luxury 4 door Toyota tilde which was very comfortable. The driver was no problems either. This is a test flight for future travel Blogs. This our trip 2011. Sept 25 Bangkok: We loved Bangkok, we booked Siam@Siam boutique hotel & knew it was close to MBK shopping centre, but when we stepped out of Siam@Siam & jumped in a Tuk Tuk & asked the driver to take us to MBK we wandered why he gave us a funny look, anyways, 100mts down the road we stopped & pointed to MBK. He didnt charge us, so yes we got a free TUK TUK ride, unheard of in this city. MBK is a huge shopping centre with a great food court. Floor after floor of bargains with a great electronic areas.
