Lovely dad-daughter relationship The best aspect off all these blogs and photographs is the dad-daughter relationship is portrayed through these. I have non known any man being so patient with children. this daughter is definitely one of the luckiest.
This has been one of my favourite blogs to follow since I first came across it. Seeing the progression to Sofia's direct input to the entries just makes it even more special :-)

Yeah, we're back! We're back and it's great to read your adventures, we had such a brilliant time in Mexico it's been a bit hard to adjust back to life in Europe, but I have not dispaired and I will get round to writing it up! In the mean time I shall read your adventures, Sofia, always great to see. We thought of you as we flew via Miami to Cancun!!! Last year too, maybe one of these days we'll have to stop in Miami!!!
Great pictures, it looks like you are having so much fun in the salt. We loved Uyuni too for all the silly pictures we could take - the Pringles idea of yours was a good one, as well as Barbie and Ken!
Celebrate life! Sometimes we don't need words, we just need a smile. I love Uyuni, been there with Mari in summer 2010...it was like yesterday. I wish Tiffany and Leslie would enjoy the same fun as Sofia.
View the world through the smile of your child. Because we are not on earth to get it to ourself, we are on earth to get a message to the generations to come. Life is fun, and the smile of a child is the world!
following you yes it seesms that we are posting almost firght after one another. I am having lots of problems with the videos as well as the pics. Not sure what the problem is and nobody has responded yet, Videos took a long time to load and I am frustrated that cannot see them. Pics are another issue. Hope they get fixes soon. See you in 15 months.
I Mike, I could only see the first pic, so guess I\'ll have to come back once Ali has sort out one more bug! I love your text (as no pics)! So today Sofia is officially the oldest blogger on TB...what a jump!
Mari made a fun comment, our blogs have been following each other for the last few days, quite nice!
I plan to bring the full little family to Machu Pichu in 2013...we\'ll do the jumping. I still remember my first visit back in 2002! I was with my best friend and we \"climb\" the Huana Pichu, you know, the little little mount right behind Matchu Pichu. When he told me...let\'s go there...i first told him he was completely mad. The hike is seriously scary, but from top there the view was amazing.
Fun part, I did it in golf shoes as I had only city shoes with me. I was ona short round the world, without a camera! so the imagines are still deep inside me. Don\'t think i\'m ready to have the kids doing such a little walk...seems few people drop to their dead few hundred meters down.
Well, that was something. We haven\'t see you commenting on the Pisco Sour yet. For wine eru produce red and white...only one Blanco de Blanco is drinkable to my knowledge...but the pisco...the pisco...
Nice to read your new adventures! Happy to see both of you back on the road...love to follow yoursteps. We are coming to see you in December 2012....we'll make sure this time itwon't be a too short stop!
inspirational Hi Sofia and Dad,
I have followed your travels for a while now, and you are inspirational. This summer (our summer, december) my wife, myself and two children, both 9 years old (twins) are going off to Laos and Northern Thailand to explore and discover - and may i say that you give us the courage to do so.
Could i ask a bit of advice from seasoned travellers such as yourselves - malaria, - according to the travel guides it is where we are going. But anti malarials are such a nuisance to take for adults and I couldn't imagine what it would be like with kids. So Sofia, did you ever take anti malarial medicine, and dad, would you recommend it?
Marathon run! I have just realised I have come to the last blog for now! I have just spent the last five hours absolutely fascinated by your blogs and seeing you grow into this lovely 5 year old, it is now 0200 just to show how absorbed I was with it all. I can't wait to read your next instalment! Although now, I think it really is time to go to bed!!!
You've inspired me to maybe write a blog, I did try when we did an around the world trip when my daughter was three but I found it quite tricky to combine a 3 year old with internet cafes, you are obviously a calmer child! Maybe now that she is six I should try again!
Thank you so much for writing these wonderful blogs!
Daddy was right! Daddy is right to have taken you to Venice, despite going every Christmas to Friuli and flying into Venice I still haven't taken Luna to Venice!!! I must remedy that soon!
And how did daddy get that many bottles through customs? Isn't it slightly over the 23 kg of luggage allowance?
I love this blog and it's been so interesting to see and read so much about the various islands in the Caribean that I don't know so well! My daughter would have loved to have gone on the Tarzan obstacle course with you! I think you two would get on! And what a clever daddy getting things just right!

Happy New Year!
Really to have had the chance to meet you this year...and we are coming to Miami in just over a year! We'll bring some wine!
