Some time after Christmas we made a vague commitment, Aaron and I (David), to cycle from London (England) to Tehran (Iran), over our university summer holidays. Being a big fan of seeing my vague commitments through I still had every intention of going 2 weeks before the holidays started, but no bike, and no money. Being students the first move was to try and persuade someone to give us bikes - but either no one believed us, or they just didn’t feel like giving up several hundred pounds worth of kit.
