canada Dear Jake and Amy-great text and photos. You made good use of your time in canada and will have a great time in canada. I travel to uk tomorrow to take stuff to the house-start of the move from germany. Mum goes to brighton on the 13th and then we go to alpbach on the 23rd. On the 5th April we head off to la chambertie for the spring- stay about 6 weeks and then back to germany to finally decamp on 29th may. We both bought some work dungarees yesterday for the gardening can,t wait to get back to our little acre Love Dadxxx
vancouver island Hope you can save your blog and make it into a book or even turn it into a feature for a travel section. I did warn about expensive canada and the only cheap thing was fuel but then our 3 litre v6 campervan only did 15mpg
Snow!! Hello, Lovely to get your news and see the photos. Please tell the Olympic people they should transfer to the Eifel where we have just been for 5 days and were in danger of being snowed in there!! Would like to send you our photos but I don't know how to do it!! Been listening to the radio and apparently they are trying to sweep up all the homeless in Vancouver to hide them from visitors!! The Long Quest I truly admire the courage that it has taken you both to organise for this career break. I hope that you both remember that this is a once in a lifetime experience and alot of people would not get this chance.
