Good on ya, mate! I'd like to say that I wish I were there, but upon thinking....maybe a beach in Maui. We are in another hotel, catching another flight but have had great fun playing with the perfect child. You know, we will be looking back on that trip with laughter for years...such are memories made of! Congratulations on finally reaching the finish line-I knew you could do it! Love to you both and have a lovely Christmas.
Love, Lib and Mark
Life in Eugene Hello, Mark and Libby;
Quite an adventure for you!! All's well here and progressing nicely. I've read your journal will envy (except the weather thing). See you whn you get back (it is so wet) and have a safe trip.----Jeff
congratulations Passages made, distances achieved, goals attained, and all that navigation you put together, Lib, got you where you wanted to go.
Now for the next tropical island in some other ocean...
Nice yacht!
Driving a pink (not so cadillac) Beautiful shots everyone. I can't wait for you all to get back safe. Paul and Berit...safe sailing. Mom and Mark...I'll see you in less than 2 weeks.
I can't help but remark that Libby didn't even rent a car in England (we took the train and left the VW van in Holland) and here you are driving a little pink daihatsu on the wrong side of the road....A little bit crazy! Must be all the carribean rum.
Ciao,
Kelly
Now whose are some happy travelers! Delighted to hear from you and more to know you are enjoying your time. The days rush toward Christmas and are full.We are well and have our tree up as well as some Christmas decor. Wishing for 75* weather won't get us summer. Bill says the closest we will get to Hawaii this year is the pineapple we shared for a treat. Great pictures.
Enjoy every minute. Come home tan. Love you guys lots. Merry
Tropical Storm You guys are getting some heavy weather....but you should not leave the dock when the "tropical storms" start to hit....reminds me of taking the little dive boat out right before a major storm in Roatan last year....least it is not snowing!
Your Adenture Mark and Libby:
I have enjoyed your updates and have kept mom informed. I wish I had a better map to follow your progress. Everything is fine here; glad its the weekend. Meeting some of the boys for cocktails at 4:30; I'll hoist one or two for you guys. Keep safe. Love Kevin
...to escape your boring day to day grind of a job! Nolan says hello, doesn't really remember you guys but I try and show him pictures of his grandparents!! I guess the next son will have to be named Paul, that way he will know the dark side of the force. : )
Well, we're just enjoying your blog, I imagine Mama is all up in arms from the huge waves. Next time airlift her to the next port and she will meet up with you guys with a 'drink with an umbrella'.
Nolan is getting larger and his brown hair is coming in nicely. I noticed the mailman had the exact color hair...seems suspicious. Bball has started and Erik and I both won our first games, which by the way were league games. The team I played had 46 TO's, which the refs probably didn't call another 15....unbelievable.
Andrea says hi, she is feeding the boy as usual... i just changed his poopy diaper, thought of Papa by the way. Our house is decorated for Christmas and haven't shopped 1 minute yet. Andrea wants somebody called Louis Voutton, so I thought you guys could help her with that!
Your property on 72nd is moving along, I moved the rear lot line in to make the rear lot bigger. The 1st lot will be approx. 5,000 sqft and the rear 1 9,000sft. I'm trying to finish up Stanton and Sacramento and have a Frank Lloyd wright inspired house to build on the Stanton lot. Erik's house plans for Sac are almost done. My house plans on Brazee are still in the city with some engineering issues.
I guess Erik and Leif are heading up on the 22nd so that should be fun. Other than that, get a tan for me! (not a black and tan)
The Fam
Rum Cay Nice stern wake!
I hope you found a good place to hole up and have some rum while the big blow came over!
Speaking of big blow... we continued our racing this week and were well surprised at Steen's Christmas party... we won our ocean racing class this summer and got a nice trophy for it! Now for a few more.
I love a miss you all and can't wait to see you for Christmas...I'm dreaming of a White Christmas and a Tan New Year.... you will all already have your tans intact!
We-On-Way = WOW! Looks wonderful, and what a nice new "shop" for work. Try not to toil too hard on the job, and remember to take all required breaks to comply with the labor laws. Mark needs a little down time for cigars (Sorry, Al), and Paul needs down time to look-at-but-not-smoke cigars (Sorry, Paul).
This will be fun. Will have more time to find the chart etc when I get back to Mom's. You picked the right time to go. I want the words to the song "Say Hello to Castro" (to the tune of Give my regards to Broadway)...
Freezing to death Unless you guys are leaving anacortes you can't appreciate the cruising you are about to do. At this time it is 21 degrees and the wind is blowing out of the north at ????? oh yeah can't tell you that becase the anemometer is FROZE SOLID!!!! We are having some fun now. Off to San Dog in the morning to warmer weather I hope. Happy flying and happy cruising
Best Cruising It seems as though you all will have a "pre-tan" before we get to Hawaii!! Do me a huge favor a hoist a pina-colada for your sons watching the sun setting over the Carribean!
I would say I jealous, but I am really just extactic for you 4 .... trip of a lifetime!! Be safe, and cruise well (you always do). I love you all,
Kelly and Jackie
Frequency of splicing the main brace My personal suggestion would be spicing after anchoring. It's lonely in the deep dark ocean. Hey Mark, no smoking! Have a extraordinary time with lots of pictures of sea creatures encountered.
Which PIX I would guess "new construction", however I question the word "new". Seems to me it was further along than that when we were there in Sept. Hows the s*** flowing?
Ahoy Gangway! Good luck you guys. Please bring lots of ammo to ward off those Jamaican pirates I always wished to become. You guys may want to read Robert Stone's Under the Pitons as a small primer. (or just remember to drop the ladder if you guys decide to go swimming whilst anchored)
Tell us a bit about yourself... this information will appear on your page.
We are off on an adventure across one of the Seven Seas...how did all those pirates figure out this area without charts?!?
We are starting this blog with a trip from Spencer Creek to Summit Sky, just to see if I can figure out how to add photos. The real junket won't start until after Thanksgiving, so Happy Turkey Day to you all!... full info

Is there a Carribean version repellent...maybe Deep Blue Off?! The last legs are happening...be safe and Merry Christmas you two!
