Thanks! Goa is wonderful. Be sure to go to the south end (north end is too hectic and party filled...unless that's what you're looking for) and hit up Turtle Beach. It is truly a slice of heaven. If you're in Palolem, hit up Fernando's on the beach for some red snapper tandoori style. Also, the Village Guesthouse was really a great mix of luxury/affordability and Goran and Janet are an interesting pair. Most of all, be sure to just enjoy the peace of it all. We went when it was still somewhat off season, so I'm not sure how attainable that is in the on-season, but it really is a great place to unwind and detach. Have a great time!
My Planned Trip I am planning a trip to Mumbai and then go Goa with some friends. Any recommendations for places we have to check out, or places we must avoid?
Any insight at all.. as this is my first trip to India?
Great blog.
killer sharks?! i just spent two weeks in goa, two of those day at palolem beach, it was very nice.. i dont think the wiki info about the "killer sharks" is accurate. i swam in the ocean one day and the next morning took a boat tour around monkey island and honeymoon cove, we also were able to see the dolphins playing and having fun and what not. someone in my group asked the boat guide about the sharks and he said that the sharks there do not get very big and are actually not dangerous to humans. i guess there could be a chance of a shark attack but to mean it seemed to be a very rare occurance.
Miracle do happen and that what affirms ur faith more in the almighty Hi Girkles. Well I can really understand what feelings u might have gone through when u literally thought that u lost ur Passport. The most important document of all, even important than money, especially when ur travelling to a distance land.
Anyways i am also happy that u found it later.
Well what u can derive is that God has important role to play in everyones life. It is only when u start beliveing without any doubts, u tend to over come all difficulties and thins start to ha[[en for u. what do u think about my view point?
Wish u good luck

Wow I just sat here watching your video with the stupidest silly grin on my face, that basically said "and this is why I love traveling and love people who love to travel because god damn does traveling rule!". Seriously, it looks amazing, such an experience, great food, people, culture, everything. Loving the blog and photos and vids!
