You know, I look back and see where I was in each country at this point. Really, it surprises me that overall, I really wasn't too different in my adjustment process. I was very sick at first in both countries on my first couple of weeks. In the case of Korea, I continued life in complete ignorance of the symptoms, thinking that it was me adjusting to dust season or not being properly nourished. By Day 50, I was in the hospital for a week with very intense symptoms due to such ignorance. Before then, I went for two outpatient hospital stints.
