Travelling Rewards So great to hear of your opportunities to give back to others! I understand your comment about how structure becomes necessary after a while of spontaneous adventure. I was hoping to hear about Carnival! Also more about the family life and health/welfare of the communities you are visiting.
LOST The LOST caption is key haha. We're missin you here man, when you get back me you and Len got a date with some pints. And although I really don't think I phrased that too well, I'd say the idea translates. Get it?!?
Dune! Sounds like you're having an amazing time....
I finished Dune recently, as well as the sequel. And I agree, it's an awesome book. We'll have to chat about it sometime; I think it'd be a worthwhile book to discuss.
Take care.
Huahuahuahua ; ) huahuaha that weekend was awesome! hehehe I'm glad that you had fun and enjoyed Marcela's family...
You're sleeping, and I should get some sleep...so I won't be long this time =p
See you soon "fofo"
ps: where's the portuguese word of the day?? O_O
hey buddy! Sounds interesting! It makes me hungry actually.... and the botanical gardens make me want to go back to Australia. Have you gone out on your own yet? That was the scariest thing for me - going out into the city alone, only having the slightest idea of where you're going. At least they speak english in Australia, so good luck with Portuguese! I'll check in on you from time to time! later...
P.S. Tenha o divertimento!
cant believe you are here! wow...you are brasil!!!! i still cant believe it, that is so excited, of course i had to come here and say HI to this super fofo american guy!
i have to say im impressed with your learning skills, you have such a good memory! you're making some good progress with the lenguage, im sure after these two months you will be talking portugues like a truly brasilian! im pround of you ALEX! and i agree with Paty, it is really fofo to hear you speaking =o)
your trip is just beginning, there are lots of places to visit yet! i hope brasil doenst desappoint you!
and im wanting you for carnaval ok? in laguna beach!!!!
Yeah Soo.... Alexander Kelly,
I don't even know you anymore. First with the muscles and now with the travel blogs. America feels empty without you, not so much that it hurts, but it's palpable like a deck of cards minus a joker. You can still play with them but there's no joker card to disrupt the flow or the monotony. You are my joker, if you replace me in Brazil, my house of cards will fall.
Danny
brasil heheheh
oi alex
passei pra dizer que seu blog esta dahora, e vai ficar ainda melhor, por que agente ainda tem muito oque aproveitar hehehehe
Boa noite e até amanha
bye =)
=D Alex,
you don't know how much I'm enjoying you here...really... I hope this becomes an unforgetable experience (and I hope to help you with that, like you helped to make my stay in the US unforgetable...) and you know you can count on me if you need anything. I'm glad you're having a good time so far... but hey, you've only been here for a day... (it will only get better...or not =p huahuahua zueira =p)
Então até mais "fofo", huahuahuauha tenha uma boa noite, e que o dia de amanhã não seja um tédio total =p
So I'm actually doing it. I'm nineteen years old, I've washed a hell of a lot of dishes and have taken my summer classes. Who's going to stop me from two and a half months in Brasil? No one, just about. I've had vague ambitions for this trip for roughly a year and a half and as it's actually beginning, that intrepid confidence and psuedo-machismo seems to be falling right through that hole in my pocket. Oh well, one can never truly be prepared for these things right? SURE it would be helpful to speak Portuguese and have some sort of plan and perhaps a little cash, but hey, let's not get greedy... full info
