Well done! Very well done to you all for a successful mission. It has been great getting the Blog updates and we do indeed look forward to hearing the stories first hand sometime in the not too distant future. Hope those who have returned home will soon settle back into life here and Barcelona but guess there will be bilts of you that have changed forever. We will pray for Ricardo as he continues his travels. Much love, Angela/Mum!

So much to tell, so little time... I am just home from shopping in Lanark and it was good to find an update on your Blog. I guessed that you all must have been really busy over the past few days. It was very good to hear about your work with the PEPE children, and Richard doing his medical bit with the medications with all the fun you others provided while this was going on. It is ,as you say, wonderful to be able to express God's love to these people and to know the Lord's guidance as you do it. Am wondering how the painting is going on? Have been praying for you all. Must make a meal now - it is 5.30pm. Much love, Angela.
latest updates Glad that all continues well and your Pepes classes were well recieved,i'm sure the diffuculty in language can prove a challenge at times but I am sure the mimes, etc you are using get the message across. The medicine I know would be well received by the medical teams there and help the villagers with health needs. You are all doing a fantastic job and I am sure learning as much as teaching. You all keep well and keep us posted on how things go.
Thanks so much Hi Mum, great to hear from you and thanks for your thoughts and prayers and the verses from Ps 139 which i wil share with the rest of the group. We didnĀ“t actually eat guinea pig... that was a wee joke on my behalf! Sleeping at night is fine for me, Lidia, Miguel but i think Lorna, Wendy and maybe Olive have been finding it a bit more difficult. Love to you and Dad and the rest of the family, Rich x x x
Still thinking of and praying for you - often So encouraged and blessed by your report on your first week. It SO helps to get news and is a great spur to prayer.
Trusting the Lord you are all beginning to aclimatise to ...... everything! temperature, humidity, food, sleep, creepy rawlies etc just to start off! It sounds you are managing to communicate well with the local folk. It also sounds like hard work and good fun.
Love and prayers

half-way done already Hi Wendy and Team.
Bet you can't believe you're already half-way through your adventure. Sounds like you are accomplishing loads. Feel that my life is incomplete because I have never seen a sock-monkey! I'm sure that can be remedied on your return. How are you all coping with the heat? Was good to read that the guys were preparing the food!
Hope Lidia is enjoying speaking so much Spanish and not having any trouble with the local accent! Will continue praying for your good health and great opportunities to share your faith in both actions and words. Love Elaine and Graeme
Glasgow calling! Good to read of your exploits thus far and to see some of Lorna's photographs - if she could just bring the machete home she could tackle both her garden and mine! I have never contributed to a blog before - hope this travels through the wide blue yonder.
Alison
End of week 1 The time does seem to be going fairly quickly but you are fitting a lot in. Once you are all back from your various travels you will have to hold a post-trip evening and show us the mimes and roleplays which sound so exciting, not to mention all the photos and stories. How are you all sleeping? Is is hot and humid during the night. It is much cooler here now during the night. Nice and sunny during the day. In fact, Scotland has the best of the weather in the UK today:Saturday - that must be because of the Test cricket in Cardiff!! I do feel a bit sorry for the guinea pigs but then maybe the Ecuadorians feel sorry for chickens! Did it taste like chicken? It really is wonderful about the 'sock monkeys'. So simple yet can bring much needed income for families+self-esteem that they can earn money. Have you come across any 'Compassion' workers? I support a child in India through that organisation and I know they have workers and projects in Ecuador. I came across Ps 139 v's 7 - 12 and thought I would share them with you. All for now except much love to you all, Angela.
Great to get your blog Just realised I could follow your trip on line. It's great to hear your news. Keep up the good work. May God make your time very fruitful in the community and in your own lives.
Bless you,
Lenna
Postings for 9th and 10th Although it says there are reports for the 9th and 10th the latest one I have here is for the 8th. Why do you think that is? Angela Workman
Machetes and "Missiones" Delighted to hear all arrived safely and to read what you are doing. Stay healthy, have fun, and I am sure God will bless your endeavours. Am praying for your all. Ann Archibald
Keep up the good work. Hi team. Glad to read that things are going well. What is the temperature like? Well done for clearing the ground in record time (couldn't find the photo you referred to) and glad that you enjoyed "smapling" the local delicacies!
We are in Dallas Texas right now and are about to head off tomorrow on our road trip. No clearing of ground, or painting of walls in sight (although Graeme has been fixing a broken wooden chair while he's here). Great to be able to keep up to date with how you're all getting on.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
Love G and E.
Great to hear you arrived safely! Great to hear you all arrived safely and started work on your mission there.Hope all goes well, and the locals respond to your help and teachings!
Good to hear No2 Hi to all QPBC Team Ecuador.Sorry not to be very inspired re - Comment Title! Very good to know you had such a good meeting in El Jordan and I am impressed that Richard gave even a short testimony in Spanish. Well done boy-o, and I look forward to hearing that the sick folk you all prayed for are at least improved or at best healed. It is really good to keep up with your day to day activities. Unfortunately I cannot see how to access the photos so haven't as yet actually seen what you are up to. Will be praying for you all at the evening meeting tonight. In that respect it is good that you are behind us time wise. All for now. Much love, Angela.
Great to hear your news. It brings back many happy memories of our own time in South America. Sounds like you are busy. You are in our thoughts and prayers, but we head off tomorrow and so will be out of contact. May you continue to know the Lord's blessing and strength.
Love, Peter, Jane, Ruth and Tim
