Who was the picture of ? Hey Angela,
Good to hear that your adventure was as wonderful as you had hoped. So tell me, was Rod taking the picture of you dancing or of the girl in the "Mexico" bikini ?
Thank You! Thank you Angela for creating this wonderful blogg so that we could travel your journey along side of you and Rod. It was very thoughtful of the both of you to take time away from your busy relaxing time to share your moments with us. We know you will be happy anywhere as long as you both are together. Enjoy life and what it has to offer the both of you. Never take each other for granted. Any disagreement is repairable as long as you love each other. Have fun and always laugh.Don't sweat the small stuff! : ) Love you always! We look forward to your return some day to Victoria.
It's sacrificing time!!! Wow, that sounds amazing! Imagine how many people were sacrificed on those temples! Do they happen to have any spare human sculls you could bring home ?(my birthday is coming up). I would have totally peed my pants climbing down that rope ladder. Have you guys been bitten by anything poisonous yet?
Lots of love, Tara
Nine days, that's impossible! Hey Kids! I've been keeping myself updated on your adventures. I wish I was there! I love that you guys have posted your adventures. Can't wait to see you in person! We'll have to go for some really expensive Canadian beer when you get to Victoria!
Chichi What an adventure on market day! And I love the colourful bug. You are both getting the most of your trip. Wonderful!! Looking forward to seeing more on your return!
Love, Sue
I'm so green with envy I took a class on Meso-American Art history when I was doing my art history degree. Tikal was one of the major sites we studied. I would love to be seeing all of the Mayan sites you guys are seeing. I can't wait to see pictures.
Dolphins! Hey guys.....glad you had a good time with the dolphins...I always wondered if it had become too commercialized too....but it sounds wonderful. Rod, glad you enjoyed your diving, sounds like something I would like to do. I've never dove before, but have had a craving to do since I was a teen, but never got around to doing....sigh.....maybe when I turn 50!! That gives me 7 years to prepare!!! Raining here right now, but we did have a couple of good days, over 20 yesterday! It was Good Friday, and I was working at the hospital, where inside it was 27! They haven't figured out yet that they need to get the cooling system up and running for the upcoming summer season....we all lost about three pounds of sweat! Sara says hi, and to tell you on Easter Sunday she will officially be 17!!! AARRRRGGGHHHH!!!! Boy do I feel old! Keep taking lots of pictures..I enjoy those soo much, love you both, miss you...when are you due to arrive back??
Love Aunt Chris, Uncle David, Sara...and in spirit - Alex (my sunshine boy)
Sometimes when they are lucky both the winner and loser get to be sacrificed at the same tome! Even better the bodies can be thrown into drinking water supply.
Every thing is good here Canucks are kicking butt, even when they are bad they win.
Great Journal Hey Angela, Am enjoying this blog. You and Rod are doing a fantastic job keeping us informed of your adventures. Take care, look forward to your next journal entry.

Love Chris
You're living my dream Except for the rappelling and flying through the air with virtually nothing holding you up there.
Glad you had such a great BD Angela. It sounds like it was a blast.
Can't remember if I told you that at Tikal you can work on the digs and get Spanish lessons as well. Could be fun if you're into antiquities.
More boobs! Hey guys, amazing photo's! Except, you might have already guessed, they need more boobs. I have a short attention span you know!
Angela, I can't believe you went flying over the rain forest, that is so cool!
Do you get to go for free if you go topless? Just wondering....
Lots of love,
The Turnhams

What an awesome tour This is an amazing memory the two of you are building here. I'm glad only your shorts were taken, he must of needed them more than you. Were they clean? : ) Just kidding. While you are sunning in the sunshine we are off to Mt. Baker to do a little downhill skiing this weekend. I think I rather like your weather better, but this is fine too. Have fun and stay safe.
Love, Mom and Bill
Where's Cpt. Jack? You seriously went to Isla Tortuga? Did you see any pirates? ;P How about Johnny Depp? That's totally cool. Sounds like you guys are having an amazing time. Not like me. I'm bored and tired of being pregnant. ;)
Can you call them roads? How was that bus ride leaving Monteverde? First time I think I have ever felt carsick. We had a crazy ass bus driver who liked to go inches from the edge of the cliff! I have only been home 2 days and I am ready to leave again. Miss you guys, hope you are enjoying the Pacific Coast. Email me,,,,I feel a road trip coming on...........Canada is nice, right? lol.
Zip lining good times! Gosh, did I meet Paul too? Oh wait, wasn't he sitting with the two girls from..I don't remember, but somewhere in Europe? Oh that darn Costa Rican beer!
Zip lining is great, but don't ever let anyone fool you into thinking that you see anything while you are doing it, it's all about the rush! So much fun.
I've been back a week Ang, and I miss it so much. Watch a sunset for me, drink some wine for me too, and please, please have some rice and beans!
xo

Hola friends! Thanks for the mention Ange! I don't think I've ever been in a blog before! I'm shocked that Juiliette from Seatlle didn't get a mention, Rod was such a fan too!
You guys are great, I'm so glad that I met you both! I'll be keeping an eye on you guys!
Have some rice and beans for me eh!

Hello!
Angela and Rod Dalziel here. It is just under a week before we leave beautiful Victoria, BC and head off on our official honeymoon backpacking through Central America. Yikes!
The plan is we are flying into San Jose, Costa Rica and we will be flying out of Belize, 2 months later. Everything in between will be left in the hands of the fates (as well as a bit of research and advice from future travellers we will be meeting).
Wish us luck!
