Incredible!!! Kim, Bruce, Marika, and Will
I must say I am extremely envious of the great adventure you are having! It is such a pleasure to follow your blog. Loved the picture of Marika and Will looking up into the jungle with their binoculars!
Kim, you have worked so very hard this year and deserve every minute. Get lots of celebrating in!
You are such an incredible family. Wishing you a safe and spectacular rest of the trip.
Adios!

Heaven on earth? OK....so, endless beautiful weather, ice cream at every corner, swimming in the cool sea.....what part of this is not real? You guys are eating up all the best that this thing we called life offers -- and it is so rare to see it these days. I am energized by your incredible experiences and trips. You are packing into 5 weeks more than many do in a lifetime. OPA!!!

Re: the sad thing So sorry about the ring, guys. I know how heartbroken you must feel, having lost mine once for a year, but especially given the history. I hope you can find a replacement that you both love as much or more. Hugs to you both.
Heaven I don't know how you did this, but I want you to plan my next trip! Fantastico! Amazing how much the Sagrada has changed since I was there in 1989 (but then that was 22 years ago, so maybe not so amazing.) So many adventures, it will be interesting to see which ones stand out at the end of it all. xoxoxox
Triple A, Eh!? where do you find these amazing places? have been following all of your adventures - triple A reporting (awesome, amusing, a-breathless). with you in spirit sending lots of hugs for your next adventures. love isa
Hand it over Bruce! Hi there --
Bruce...handover the keyboard to Will...I am keen to see the pictures that HE took while lolly gagging about the resort all by himself!
Way to go Godson....solitude -- it is a splendiferous thing -- and an occasional requirement in our lives! Proud of you.
David
Best photos so far!!! Great series of photos. Best so far and they've all been good.
I love this shot Bruce and Marika. It makes me want to cry it's so cute...
Wow!! What an Adventure! Wow, guys! What an adventure! I've been reading lots of entries and hope to get caught up on them all this weekend. I am so impressed at how brave you are - fish eyes! Cool!
Bruce, you are a born writer! Maybe you and Kim could do this for a living! Your descriptions of events and places is nothing short of exceptional.
Loved seeing pictures of the churches, Marika and Will in their Spanish outfits, beautiful beaches, fabulous food, etc.
I must say I'm envious and can't wait to get travelling again soon!!
Best wishes on your journey! We can't wait to hear more about your adventures and will be checking in from time to time.
We miss all of you yet are so very, very happy for you.
Much love, joy, and adventure!
Deb
Perfect capture Bruce --
I have never been but your description captures it so well, I know how you feel.
I had a similar experience...that I didn't describe as well as you -- when I walked into the Duomo in Firenze, looked up, and cried.
These are life moments that stick.....for life!
Thanks for sharing...
Sagrada Familia Hi, I just read your post by accident. As an old admirer of the work in the SG I found your reaction really touching and lovely. I just hope we live long enough to see it finished, in 20-30 years time:

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip.
WOW! I'm loving all your tales of your adventures, and I have to say that you're really making me want to go to Lisbon! The photos are fantastic -- I especially love the castle ones! Hugs to you all, can't wait to hear more.
Hooray for Will and Marika.... I do not know ANY other kids I have met -- aged 11 and 8 who would even ever think of eating squid let alone ordering it from the menu or even more bravely posing for a picture on your tongue!! Way to go Will and Marika -- true foodie children. Your parents must be bursting with pride (and maybe even at the seams!)...
Freak me green! I can't believe Will and Marika went through those tiny tubes! I'd have DIED a thousand deaths, being as claustrophobic as I am...you are my heroes!
