Great Entry I loved this entry. It made me laugh. I, too, have an 'Ants in the Pants' experience... not as exotic - from Banff Golf Course. They'll get you every time!
Congratulations to Marika and Will who are delving into their experience with such enthusiasm and energy! You will have so many experiences to share when you're home!
Good on ya, Kim and Bruce, for giving the kids such an incredible opportunity! Wishing you all the best in the days to come!

Great trip Nice to hear you are thoroughly enjoying your visit in the Rich Coast. It's a place where microclimates feel first class. By the end of your tour you will be able to compare ants, bites etc..."beware of snakes" with our native black flies. I am sure Marika is leading the Wolf Pack.
Beautiful pictures Hi again. I have always wanted to see a sloth in its natural habitat. The students will love the pictures, especially the stick insect. I am not so sure about the tarantula...
Amazing Tatoos Wow...amazing tatoos!! What a neat way of doing tatoos. How long did they last? I am eagerly waiting your next adventures. You have done sooo much and this has truly been a powerful learning experience for all of your family. Mme Marthita
Hola, The students will be sooo excited to see Marika & Will in action at the Tortuguero school. I am sure that Will & Marika also learned a lot from the students in the school. Seeing the pictures and reading your blog will really have a powerful impact on the students. I will do a google search to see what howler monkeys look & sound like! Give a big hug to Marika. Mme Marthita
Hola Hola,
I should have tried harder to convince Deb to let me join your family as your official translator. What a fantastic experience for your family. I am definitely planning a trip to Costa Rica with my family. Your pics are amazing. I can't wait to show the students tomorrow. They will be so excited. Careful with the poisonous creatures!!! A big hug Mme Marthita

Feast for the eyes! What a phenomenal feast for the eyes for you all! The picture are exceptional - I am envious of the diversity of wildlife you get to see! Do you think you'll be able to pick a favourite?
Again Even I am overwhelmed by all you are doing. What incredible memories and photos you will have of your wonderful trip. I can't say wish I was there but I am very happy you are.
Salivating.... It is a good thing I travelled as much as I did last year because if I didn't, I would be chartering my own plane to join you guys right now. What an amazing first 5 days you have had. You have already seen and done more than most would be able to do in a lifetime of travel. wowie zowie.... Costa Rica looks amazing and I love seeing it through your 8 eyes.....rich, diverse, exciting, scary, wondrous,...well, like I said- wowie zowie.
What an Adventure! Wow, guys!! What an adventure! I can't believe all the animals/insects/birds/reptiles you saw in one day! You are brave to get close to the eyelash viper - I'd be running in the opposite direction!
The trip to the school must have been amazing. I know when I travel I always go visit a local school. You learn so much about the culture that way! Congratulations to all of you for bringing the donations to the school - well done!
Looking forward to your next entry. All the very best to all. Enjoy every minute!

Half a km?
I've done this but it was MUCH shorter. Do your arms hurt after 1/2 a k?
