Is it an optical illusion or is your third cousin drinking some kind of mega 4 litre milkshake thingy?Must be more healthy than Thai buckets, anyway. I think Pete must have been in one long endless state of innebriation... the blogs appear to have completely dried up...dehydration?...
video Glad to see your vi - de - o experience has at last proved useful. We have started planning Lake Malawi week - anything particular you want us to include? Keep having a good time and take care, Lots of love Angela xxxxxx
Neil and Paul's Flat... "Its nice to just be hanging out in a ‘normal’ house and is very like being at Neil’s and Paul’s"
Does that mean there is a grumpy, half naked very hairy man ALWAYS on the sofa? ;-)
Whales! Hi T, good to see you're having a great time...Whales look awesome...hopefully we'll see some in California too! Keep the photos coming, they're quality! Also, I can definitely recommend the beaches in Thailand...just try not to be there when there's a coup as parents tend to get worried...trust me!!
Updates T,
Great to get all these updates to keep us all going back here in dull, rainy UK. Please to hear that you're getting on well. Please bring me back one of those go-karts! Am very amused by the fact that you've all written your names on your hands so you can tell whose is whose!
Love,
N x
the post card we might have sent Dear Tamsin
Glad to hear the kayaking trip was so successful - should come in handy on school trips! In Pembrokeshire last week we had a minor sea born adventure with spaniels viewing atlantic seals and purple sand pipers.
Love Ian and Pam
Rulers come and go... I think that might be quite special(?)-to have been in Tonga when the King died, he's been around quite a while I think...Something to tell your kids?!! You look very happy, and are obviously enjoying yourself. Bit worried about Pete with this 'coup' thing - tanks rumbling around Bangkok - but I think its fairly peaceful. I just hope they don't do anything provocative (- like loll around drunk in the main street after curfew.....)oh dear.....
Just a quick hi Hi Tamsin,
We're enjoying your blog and especially the pictures. Glad to hear you're doing well and meeting lots of travel buddies. Can't wait to hear about New Zealand next!
xoxo,
Heather
From your mummy Look forward to more on the island. Tongan Royal family not having much luck. You should try and stay with local people as it helps the local economy and not foreigners who have decided to live there. First law of sustainable tourism. besides as you said on the phone they are more entertaining!! Keep enjoying it all. Are you going out into the harbour on a large yacht in Auckland - its what Dad wanted to do but they didn't listen. Like the peanuts. lots of love mum xxx
Hey Tams! Sounds like you're having an amazing time out there. I leave for my travels in 2 weeks now so not long. Keep enjoying yourself and let me know if you still wanna meet in Sydney for New Year, love Beccy x
friends So pleased you've met some others - knew you would...It's just that its nice to share experiences isn't it? and when you move on you'll meet more and more different people. I think I'd enjoy that as much as, or even more than the different places! Keep on having fun!
Left a comment at your last entry. Tonga kitten has arrived. YOur accommodation looks like the Tardis - bigger inside than out!! glad your having fun. love mumxx
Just back fro Italy Hi flew back today Sat 9th. Very sunny and lovely views of Tuscany. Will update my blog at some point. going broadband on wed 13th and have bought a skipe phone so if internet cafes have these we can talk for free I believe. Glad you are having a good time and have found lots of people to hang out with. I am taking Dorin to a dog show in Assington in a little while, not agility just fun and then collecting Tonga the kitten this evening. Dad in Holland car racing. lots of love mum
Hello!!! Hi Tamsin, how are you? Got your message, sorry it's taken me so long to reply. Definitely up for meeting, I'll be arriving in Sydney mid October and will be in Australia for at least 6 months. Being totally disorganised, I don't really have a set itinerary, so not sure exactly where I'll be, I would think the East coast is the best bet! Keep in touch and we can arrange that nearer the time. Glad you're having a good time so far, how's Fiji? I'd love to go there, might save up a bit in oz and shoot over there for a couple of weeks. Anyway, travel safe, take care of yourself and I'll see you in Oz!!
Hello! Hello! Am looking at your messages and photos even though tomorrow is the first day of term and I should really be reading those plans and getting myself ready for the new Owls! As you haven't written anything rude, I shall get your website up on the old whiteboard and show the kids- perhaps even get another message sent from them to you. (and I think I may be able to do that without help from Barbara!) The East coast of the USA was great, but am thinking Seattle and area around it looks pretty amazing too so am already planning my next trip!
Keep on having lots of fun- we're all thinking of you!
lots of love , Karon xx
Testing I wrote you a long comment but it said you have to view it first, but if I log iin you get to see it immediately. so I have logged in and I am testing to see if it appears. You can read the other one too. love mum
Hello from wet England Fri/sat 12.30am Thought about you this evening and Dad and I got out the globe to see how near to you Neil was in Hong Kong. He was four lines of longitude away where as we are 13 and if you stuck a knitting needle through the globe Fiji is exactly opposite us so it would come out right next to you or even poke you in the bottom. Talking drivvle(spelling?)must be time for bed. Judith and Tony here for the weekend. Guess what - it's raining. The greatest excitement here is the boiler engineeer while servicing the thing discovered we had red diesel in the tank and not kerosene, but we haven't been blown up by it or anything. Oh yes and Ipswich won for the first time this season. Village Players BBQ here on Sunday. I have set up some weave posts in the garden for Dori - don't hold your breathe. Love you - mumxxx
