thanks for your sharing I have really enjoyed your sharings, learned even more about what makes great relationships, and am so appreciative of what you give to your community of friends. I am curious about that 1/2 massage.......!! Am willing to go back to Thailand to experience this!!
love is all there is, Stefan (not "Steve").
I'm sad that you have to leave such a awesome trip I will also try this in my life. thank you so much for sharing!!!!
(To that end, we've come up with ritual of, when we here the other (or ourselves) complain or whine about ANYTHING, we reach out a hand to the other and ask "would you like to start again?" Then we shake hands and start over)
This is great and we try this as well, and very nice to hear the way you word it!!!
(We'll sit down to order food, gluttenous and greedy and end up leaving food behind. Solution? We order one thing at a time and share meals - ensuring no waste, saving money and enjoying a new little custom in our travels.)
Now I'm really aching for a trip as yours!!!
Thanks for sharing.
Virginia
Wow. Loved your thoughts and your statistics. I hope we can see your pictures and share in your adventure and insights, at least some during couple's circle, and, hopefully, a lot more later. This certainly does sound like the trip of a lifetime. Missing you, loving you, blessing you and your journey together. How does Steve feel about that?

Beautiful Photos I love the photo of the tunnel. What a wonderful shot! That will make a great framed photo on your wall. It's so nice to experience your travels with this blog! Wonderful Idea! Personally, I would have preferred this blog to have been set up at simondarcy.com, or a domain dedicated to your personal adventures. That way you can keep all you travels in one place, and expand it with each trip. I will set it up for you!
You Know What This Means Don't You? Thai dinner at your house!!!
Thanks for the delightful memoir. I will look forward to tasting your Thai delights at some point, presumptuous as that may be of me.
Love you both,
Tricia
Thai cooking It's so fun to hear from you and be a part of your trip (albeit it from this vicarious and ever so jealous vantage). Having spent time in Thailand, I can well imagine what your new Jay Leno friend is like. Meeting delightful and colorful characters, always makes for such a memorable and fun trip. Sounds like yours is off the chart! I like the idea of a 3rd trip sometime in your future. I was hoping you weren't done with that part of the world, just in case the stars ever lined up enough so we could meet up with you there sometime again. Paul and I still have it on our list as one of our return destinations. Can't wait to see and hold you both again. Peace and Love, Maggie
Funny! T: You're cracking me up with the bathroom dialogue! You know this is the kind of cultural thing I truly have to know about! Love the picks of Simon on the elephant and all the beautiful shots of the two of you. You look alive and in love! I'm sending you both a big hug for the New Year! Thank you for sharing your journey!
Lovin every juicy moment of the description of your day. OMG it sounds so scrumptious. I hope I will be so lucky someday to experience the slice of Heaven that you are playing in now. Enjoy every last drop.....drink it all in. Love you so,
Jodi Podi
thanks for the smile Hi. I just read all your blog entries and smiled. So good to read that you are having such a good time. Happy New Year to YOU!

a life of leisure Hey kids,
sounds like a wonderful experience. After a few days of stressing over our property, life is good. I'm all caught up and ready to act (in other words, do nothing) based on your inspiring examples. I like how you take it one moment at a time, not knowing where you're going next. LIfe in the commune is ever exciting and challenging, and Kirsten sends her love--along with my own.
The water! I am dreaming of water that incredibly clear, beaches that glorious, air that warm and fragrant, and of course, the time to soak it all in. I want to be where you are.
Big love,
Tricia
Mandalaaaahhhh OK. you guys totally dropped in. Loved your description of your day.
No Thing to do. Just open to being in the moment and what presents itself. Big decisions like left or right. When to eat. So glad to hear you are in paradise, on your honeymoon, curisin' easy and slow. Yeah..
I'm so there with you and lovin you and being with you and the way it is. How SLOW can you go? Merry Christmas, Paulimon
LOVE!! I'm blown away!!! Thank you for sharing this!! What a huge gift. I LOVED hearing about Steve. My grumpy Harry is jealous of Steve (go figure). ha The looks of bliss on your faces is breathtaking. SO BEAUTIFUL
Namaste, Kathy
Dropping in This is my second post however, the first one does not appear to have actually made it through.
Anyway, it's so great to see your photos and read your words and experience vicariously this magical mystery tour you are on. If not already, you will be 100% dropped in and the rest of your life as you once knew it will be completely suspended....aaaaahhh.
When Stan and I are on vacation together we are constantly checking in with each other to what percentage are we dropped in. Sometimes it takes several days but there is no mistaking the moment when that 89%, 93%, 97% even 99% hits the 100% mark where thoughts of the past no longer exist and we are fully in the present moment of bliss. Feels like a really long time since I have been in that place of moments upon moments of mindless bliss strung together so perfectly.
Enjoy your bliss and thanks for sharing it with us.
Love you both,
Tricia
What a joy! It's so wonderful to see you two having fun. Enjoy your time meandering. You deserve having no agenda for your lovely days of pleasure and adventure. Seek not a destination, but the constant joy of the open road and jungle pathways of butterfly filled magical sunlight.
The View Greetings honeymooners.
Good to get a glimpse of your travels. The view from your hotel room is stunning and I am sure not even close to the real thing. In a few more days you will most likely be so dropped in, all of us back here will be a distant memory. But we will be with you in spirit as we see your relaxed and joyous faces in your posted pictures and entries.
Love to you both,
Tricia
So glad you arrived safely. Singapore is indeed sterile and boring. The food in the open food courts is terrific - wonderful Chai tea everywhere. Can smell it now.
Loving you both. Maggie
It's our honeymoon and we're headed back to Thailand.
We last went to SE Asia 4 years ago and although our inner journey's were rocky, the outer journey was very fun and we both fell in love with Thailand. This time, we anticipate no tsunami (though perhaps a coup d’état) and plan to start in the south in Koh Tao. Four days at Charm Churee Villa to enjoy the warm water and hot sun. After that...we're not sure. We're interested in Cambodia. We'd love to go to the north of Thailand again and maybe find our friend Sawai. But there's a lot of country in between. Stay tuned to see whe... full info
