Leaving Lisbon, we headed south in the rental car to Sines and then Sagres. Rain follows us to lunch in Sines, which is building a new, state of the art port for shipping. Back on the road to Sagres and the Pousada Infantes, located at the tip of the Iberian Peninsula. This also happens to big a big surf town, in the Hawaiian sense of the word. Two great forts on the bluffs looking out to the wild Atlantic Ocean. Along the drive, we passed fields of corn, cork trees and wind generators. The roads are in new condition, for the most part. Some toll, whixch tend to be less crowded, but the free roads are in good condition, just narrower and busier. The signage is fairly clear, until you reach the towns. Then watch out
