Rohtang Pass is the highest point on the Manali-Keylong road. It provides a wide panoramic view of the mountains rising far above the clouds, which is truly a breath taking sight. Located at a height of 3979 m, the pass once served as a crucial trade route, and still remains the gateway to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti. The pass is open from June to September every year, although trekkers can cross the pass from May.
