Sue Treadie's Guestbook

29th December 2007

Thanks for a second wonderful Christmas time together.
The memories of the past two Christmas Seasons at Taizhou Teachers College have been made more meaningful with your continued friendship, the joy and laughter, and the wonderful holiday-smells eminating from our humble kitchen on the 8th floor of our college "penthouses" at the Gui Yuan Bing Guang Hotel. I wish you sincere blessings for the New Year 2008, the year of the Rat.

xmas spirit
Sue, it looks like your classes have totally embraced the xmas tradition. I hope you taught them the song "Six White Boomers" Suprisingly our xmas weather has been very mild this year but still warm enough to be at the beach. I wish you a very happy new year and look forward to hearing all your wonderful stories in 2008 .

Wonderful photos!
Sue, on my recent travels I took a lot more "movie" because it also has "sound" which adds that extra dimension. Although sometimes I was not positioned to get a good picture, even a rough photo recalls so much more when you hear sound. Does your camera have this additional facility as well as photo function? It is a new camera.... costing about half of the previous 5 yr old camera!

amazing
Amazing! After reading this, I feel as if I were there. It is no wonder said the west is the cradle land of our country, and the living style there is greatly different from my hometown, it is interesting. However, you may see, the teaching conditions there is not as well as the east. And now the government is making efforts to narrow the distance between the east and the west.

about time!
So glad you have found a hash club in China Treadie.....was getting worried about you not having anywhere to 'let loose'. They look a great bunch and hope it continues. Well the Harriettes had their changeover recently with the new committee consisting of all past GMs with a new idea - every 6 weeks or so they will change GM so every has a turn but no one has the full responsibility.
