The Ritz Nursing Home Just for the record the Ritz Nursing Home is not what we had in mind for retirement in Australia! More like a fabulously appointed 'Chez Cooper' hopefully funded by two rich doctors!!
yakwool? Impressive photo and interesting work you are doing.
Just to update you I did the marathon (sponsorship was not in vain and thanks again) but annoyingly took a minute over four hours- excuses can be found at: http://www.justgiving.com/brigittemooljee
which means I will HAVE to do another now! Despite rarely training, M did well with a PB of 4:35 -made me wonder what he could do if he had trained. Won't clog blog anymore- say hi to your hippy parents for me and a hug for lizzie - loved her new pet rabbit x
Bernie is MOST jealous, she thinks angora should be dyed pink and turned into a jumper...this may be influenced by her disgruntled recent bath...! xx ps; poor yak!
earth calling please let your mum and dad know I tried to text them back several times this week but my does not seem to be able to due to the network- look forward to seeing them and you when you are back love Gita x
Agree with Gitq Lizzie would look great in a Sari. She should get one _ ask the Rickshaw driver if he knows where to stop. Hope the long journey goes well:
memories loved the pics of udiapur....it was years ago when i was there but it looks like nothing has changed. Did you find the restaurant that played the film octopussy every night? Keep updating the blog...it's good to see where you are and to know you're both well and safe. mark xx
turning into a real Indian I am loving keeping up with your adventures- makes me want to go again. Gosh you are turning into a true Indian Stuart- soon you will ignore all the beggars and show extreme irritation with the rickshaw drivers haha.
Mark got the job- it is brilliant news - he is going out before me now! OK back to turkish homework, your blog is a welcome distraction. Love to Lizzie (I am sure you would look gorgeous in a sari by the way)
Jealously sets in! Wow! It looks like you're having an amazing time - we are so jealous! You're obviously making the most of your time (are you planning on doing any medicine while you're out there?!?!)
Can't wait to see all the photos when you're back! Take care, Sarah and Phil xxx
Hooray we found how to use the internet cafe Great blog. Keep the photos coming. Hope Lizzie is finding enough to eat. Delhi Belli gets everyone in the end
nutters Hi there- I was glad to read you have spared the bunny from impending delhi belly- I shall endeavour to read your blog which I am sure will be interesting- you will know India much better than me by the end of your adventure. Good luck and attach photos to your blogthing. Many thanks for your marathon wishes - and remember Lizzie- masala dosa's (Pancakes) will keep you strong and healthy- dont forget to enjoy indian sweets - galub jamun(spellings) and kulfi ice cream/shrikand (rosewater yoghurt dessert). Take a million pics and look forward to catching up to hear all about it upon your return. Lots of love Gita xxx
PS remember to go to the taj in moonlight again as it reflects light in a beautiful way- but watch out for those naughty monkies...
A huge welcome to our travel blog site! Through this blog we will try (if we remember/can find a internet cafe/a computer that actually works) track our various travels for family/friends/random people that decide to view these pages.
A bit about us - Stu and Lizzie (Lizzie is the one with the blonde hair!), married, both doctors, live in Leicestershire, love to travel (when work allows). Check back regularly for updates!
