Gidday There Hi There Casey and Steven
While I was reading your England blog I felt like I knew exactly what you were talking about and knew alot of the places you had talked about and understood some of the underlying frustrations as well. :-)
Looking forward to speaking to you about it face to face when you come home.
Well hope that you next leg in Europe is going really well
Take care

Hi from Hanmer! Great to be following your travels again. I'm printing your journals off and putting the info in a folder for the kids to read and hopefully learn a bit more about where you've been. Had plenty of snow here, kids enjoying making huge snow caves etc More snow on its way tomorrow. Gerald coming to stay for a few days so he can take the boys to Lyford.
Happy adventures
wow guys its all sounds so exciting! so many details its just great, espeically the amount of dodgy/tacky jewerlly stalls! sounds as though you are having a great time :) can't wait for the next instalment!
AWWWWWWWWEEEESSSOME It is so cool to hear about everything that you have been up to! I can wait to see all of your photos. Dont give away all of your kiwi coins though, they are a collectors item now, we have a whole new set as of yesterday.
I hope you are enjoying Europe as much as south america even though it will be very different. If you see any crusader castles of medieval buildings could oyu take a photo of them for me :)
Lisa, Paul, Kayli and Connor Hi Steven and Casey,
Your mum has just passed on this blog after I had asked how you two were going.
Have only read a little bit but I am hooked already!!
Look forward to reading more about your travels.
Take care,
Luv Lisa and family
Envious Hi you two. Sites excellent, Janet gave me the address. Been reading your journals while sitting here in the control room at the mine. Makes me envious as South America is one place I always wanted to go but never quite got there.
WOW I so cant wait until you guys get to England and I can hear more about these awesome things you have been doing. You are doing a fab job of taking photos and keeping a journal. It is so cool for us to read and see what you are doing. keep safe and cant wait to catch up with you lots of luv Kerri and Jeremy
Wow guys! You are doing such an amazing job with this - awesome to read and wonderful photos :) Those reed boats and floating islands are so fascinating! The boats look like something out of a historic film...lol! Hmmmm...hole punchers and sellotape street?? What is that about?! Nothing huge is happening back here - we bought a new washing machine as the old one finally gave up and Dave and I have managed to get our flights and stuff paid for for the end of the year :) Jeanie has gone back to Canada - I'm sure she will be in touch, she's very keen to come back sometime. Anyway, enjoy your travels through Bolivia! Hugs, Kate
Great blog Hey guys , weve been loving all your blogs, especially this one, its almost feels like we are along for the trip too. Fantastic you climbed up to the top of HP, amazingly steep the photos showed a great view of the whole place. Take care lots of love Pauline
So glad you guys got to the altiplano - looks gorgeous! Awesome to see the volcano erupting too! Oh, and Steve...nice photo of you on the horse!! Was it hot in the Valley of Death?
Sorry, I'm working backwards here. What a beautiful country and you are getting such nice weather! Amazing experience and this is such a great way for us to partially share it with you! The condors sounded really wonderful - I imagine that would be something special to see, and I really love the bright clothes of the people. Looks like you are both going to be very fit by the time you get back with all the walking you are doing!! Look forward to the next addition :)
Wow! Awesome place guys!! Looks incredible - I can only begin to imagine what it would have been like when populated. Love the llamas roaming the buildings and thanks for putting up the photo of the restored roof - looks actually quite modern in a way... Very impressed with your climb to the top of that mountain! I had no idea you could do that - it looks too steep! Pretty neat view though! How did you get on with your foot Casey? Not give you any trouble? Terrific photos and I can't wait to see them all when you get back! Awesome blog too, really interesting to read - you are having some great adventures :)
Bye for now!
Hugs, Kate

What amazing history you have been walking over. I suppose you would get over being afraid of heights living up there! Love the Llamas! My dream is to have some Alpachas. Could you squeeze a llama into your bag for me!!!
You are writing such an awesome over view of what you are doing, it feels like we could be there with you. Keep it up.

your trip sounded awesome! the photos are cool and by the looks of it peru seems quite different to Chile. Im just finishing an essay on the Mapuche but maybe I should have done it on the people of Peru, they wear cooler clothes!!!

Hey! Hi Guys!
I finally have got around to looking at your website - sorry it's taken so long. Great idea doing this! Looks like you are both having a great time and I love seeing the photos - is a beautiful place :) Things are pretty quiet back here and I'm heading off next week to Island Hills. Jeanie and Matt arrived back here a couple of days ago so is nice to have some company again! Hope you have a wonderful time travelling up north and I will keep checking for new postings :) Hugs, Kate
Sounds pretty neat What is pisco made from?
And what was the statue El Mano Del Desierto made from in the middle of a desert?
How was the sleep on the bus?
Sounds pretty cool.
