Rude comments Can't believe I went all the way through your blogs without making one rude comment. Must be losing my touch. Gutted about the Isetta. I had one as well. Once went to Royal Holloway college up Egham Hill with 6 on board. Perhaps that's why the clutch wore out. Dad repaired it with a homemade fibreglass pin as he couldn't wait to get a proper spare. Lasted about 10 minutes, then needed adjusting. I gave up and sold it.
Very interested in the navel base. What was the rest of her like?
As you will be home in a day or so I'll look forward to the face to face abuse
Roger
Windmills Fancy you two not knowing that Morawa had the 6th largest collection of windmills in the world. Everyone here knows that, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I get Windmill Magazine for me every 3 months, along with Grouter's Weekly for Carol now that they've stopped Tractor Monthly.
Caio Can never think what to put as a title, so as I'm thinking about my Italian class resuming soon, ciao sprang to mind!
Glad to hear that the fishing is going a bit better now, though the Long Tom looked very strange. We're enjoying seeing all the wildlife photos, the birds look great and we are envious of the boat trips (some of them), can you put comments on something like Trip Advisor when things don't go well? Likewise with the camp sites, there seem to be big differences between them, but then the same is true here.
The only wildlife excitement here has been seeing a Jay in the garden, they only appear very rarely. We've had a hectic couple of days for us, weeks go by and nothing happens then everything happens at once- visitors, seeing a new baby, going to a wedding! We're not used to so much toing and froing, but it has all been very enjoyable.
Hope you don't run into too much rain, I expect you've already heard that it is very autumnal here now- at least the sun shone today!
Safe journeys,
Kim
It's difficult Yes the headings are! The poor boat trip should never have gone out because of the weather, that's what I complained about. We don't normally have much luck with wildlife sighting anyway! It's getting colder by the day as we head towards Perth. Hoping to buy an extra blanket today!! Thanks for responding, we love to hear from friends. S &C
Road trains My first experience of the road trains was a bit hairy. Driving along with the window down was the big mistake. If they are coming the other way the wind just hits you in one go, wham. After that, I kept the window up. Good to see Rio Tinto are still mining. My mother has shares in them.
Very scary! Hi Dom
They shake us as they go by and don't move over very much either! We feel very small at those times. Nice to hear from you again. Steve
Too Hot!!! Sounds like your having a good time but would be far too hot for me, I couldn't do anything in those temperatures!!! Just back from a lovely weeks holiday with John and Brenda on the Monmouth and Brecon canal in a narrowboat. Good weather and beautiful scenery with locks a tunnel and the occasional grounding to make it interesting. Looking forward to our week in Spain.
Cooling down hi Pleased to hear you had a good boating holiday. Have moved south now and it's cooling down to 26!. Went fishing today on the beach and the chap a few yards away caught a shark!! See you soon Steve & Chria
Great Adventure in Guayaquil to Cuenca, Alausi, Riobamba and Cotopaxi! Beautiful trip! thanks for sharing your adventure in Ecuador! We love Riobamba and we invite you to see our website for more information about this city. Keep the Adventure life!
Hello again Belated anniversary congratulatons to you both! It seems that you are in a very interesting part of the world at the moment- though it is quite mind boggling to consider how huge it is! the photos are great and I like the look of the zebra stone. Hope the fishing improves and that you can keep the wine stores topped up (bit of a logistical nightmare)!
All the best, safe journeys,
Kim
What happend Hi Again Last message shot off before I'd finished it! Was about to say nothing between two towns 300! Next blog should be at the weekend, internet access permitting. Steve
Keeping up Hi Dom I'm pleased to hear that you're still keeping tabs on us. The next installment should be at the weekend, internet access permitting. Hopefully you'll not have been to the places. Steve
Hi both,
Strictly speaking you are not permitted to issue a blog on any day other than Sunday, however we will make an exception this once.
Very impressed by the zebra rock. Can you bring us a bit? Carol says it's worth crossing the road for! Groan.
Glad you managed to get some vino for your 38th. Love the name Bungle Bungle caravan park, sounds like a children's hour place name.
Not much to report except the unusually warm sunny weather in Slingsby. We've even had to do some gardening. Off to Norway next Tuesday for a week to (apparently) the wettest place in Norway; Bergen.
Carry on camping.

Hi Steve & Christine. It actually seems like you might be having a good time. Keep it up! But I am glad to see the disaster have not abandoned you completely. Some excellent photos, Christine. I particularly liked the one of Steve - No 3!
Crocodile DunDormer One look at photo 9 will have any self respecting crocodile hot footing it for the nearest bilabong as Steve looks pretty dangerous to us.
We are Steve & Chris. In 2013/2014 we travelled around the world and had a wonderful time. The nomadic existence suited us more than we could have imagined. So once back in the UK we soon got bored (well I did) and over the winter months planned another trip. Only 3 months this time to revisit Malaysia, the bits we missed last time and to explore the outback of Australia.
Only crocodiles, snakes and spiders to avoid !
