Postcards from the ledge Lovely piggy-postcard!
It remembers me Truty, my little piggy who used to travel with me for a long time before he "decided" to stay somewhere on the road heading to Lima from Ica...
Blogs You should totally collect your travel letters and the mass emails you sent while in England - you could write a book about it and buy me reeses pieces with the profits. Love you longtime and don't eat anything else dodgy.
Ging it up No - don't start dating a redhead (thats never a good idea), but apparently ginger settles icky stomachs - plus its a good excuse for ginger aleing it up :) Hope you feel better soon sweetie.
Happy New Year! Just caught up on all your blog babe, sounds amazing! Can't wait to catch up sometime, we miss you heaps! GBet you can't wait to sleep in your old bed, you'll love it! xxx
re;spit on face yeah, sorry bout that one steph...hehe..train to chaing mai was long, and its damn cold up here...bout 18 degrees or something, the thais are having log fires out on the pavement...xx
Waaa waaa waasabi What up Steph! I've just spent the last hour catching up on your journals haha, good s**t! everytime I read them though, I just want to pack my bags and blow this pop stand. Can't wait till Wednesday when I depart the cold and windy shores of Great Britain for the cold and windy shores of The Netherlands - but, at least there will be plenty of nice warm cafes for me there tee hee. I can't wait actually - it may not be Thailand, but at least its another adventure. Its been a busy life since you left, uni finished for this year on Friday and I had to give a presentation to the class on placenta functioning - you can imagine how I loved that - but afterwards was my staff party - it was awesome, I still have a sore neck from headbanging and playing air guitar on the dance floor to queen and GNR - yes shame is my middle name! Anyways, hope your leg is getting better, get yrself into the ocean, that will sort you right out.
Love yr guts, miss you muchly

Pad Thai?? Hi lovley, I am so glad that you are enjoying the travels. Sorry to hear about your leg, no drinking, what will you do??? I guess a kiwi spewing is out of the question ;o) It sounds like you are meeting some fantastic people and having a bloody good time, its what travelling is all about, I have to admit I am pretty jealous....Its grey and cold here! I'm Looking foward to reading more of your adventures, and catching up back in the homeland in March. Lots of love and safe and happy travels. Rach-J. P.S: If ever in doubt...."KIWI'S DONT SPEW"
Auntiebiotics Hi Steph, stay right there, we have good news... me and mum are on our way to stay with you in the bungalow in Paradise! Mum says she'll look after you and your leg and I'll go on the elephant trek for you. Coooool!
(See u when you get home babe) Dad x
Rarotonga tattoo It turns out that scooter burns are more common than you think...my friends who went to Raro told me they got matching tattoos - turns out it means matching hideous burns from the exhaust. Awesome. It sounds totally great over there Steph - uber jealous.
Not as cool as llamas You look as though you are having an awesome time dude (even with the homsickness). Just thought you'd like to know that the scientific name for a llama is Lama glama. And...it could be worse than homesickness. Your new job could be hunting for the nests of birds smaller than sparrows. Damn grey warblers. Its making skipping the country seem like a damn good option :) Love from down here where the pohutukawas are flowering and the tuis are being raucous.
Love from Auntie! Hi Steph, great to catch up on all your news on the blog and to see the photos - your writing is so good that it is almost like being there with you! The photos are great too - very professional looking! You sound to be having a ball and I feel really envious.
Take care of yourself Steph - cant wait to see you next month!
Love from us all,
Anne, Pete, Sam and Eth

Looking foward to reading more and of course seeing you in Auckland in Feb. love and safe + happy travels. Ang
Careful of the street fish! Lovely to read your blog and hear what a great time you are having. I have just got back from NYC and had an awesome time, it was a lot colder than where you are. Thailand is a very interesting place, (but I'm not as brave as you, we stayed in air conditioned hotels). Your guesthouse in Chiang Mai sounds lovely.
I am at work so can't chat too long, just wanted to say "hi", enjoy yourself, look after yourself and I am looking forward to seeing you in January.
lol,
AF
